The Katana class was originally designed as a patrol frigate capable of defending Federation
borders against Jem'Hadar assault fighters. Her design was completed in 2375, just weeks
before the Dominion War ended. The class was suspended, but reactivated in the 2380s when
it was decided the Katana class could be used to solve certain problems in theoretical
propulsion circles. U.S.S. Coronado is one of the most advanced ships in Starfleet! From here, you can read about the history of the ship, review her technical specifications, or look at a deck layout and schematic. A detailed briefing on Coronado's systems is also available! You can review the following Coronado data files from here:
By selecting one of the items at the menu at the top of your PADD, you can access the information referenced above. All officers and crew of U.S.S. Coronado are required to go through these files in detail! Once you're done here, tap the Return key at the bottom of your PADD, and you will be returned to the index. |
