Designer Notes
Galahad is one of the fastest, most maneuverable Gears in the racing game today. His weapons are not particularly exciting, but are built around close combat. Your only distance weapon is a deployable pack gun, which is the basic racing and dueling automatic weapon. Your primary weapon is the massive vibrosword. Three hand grenades rounds out your load. You are also carrying a target designator and as such have access to Equalizer's gun.

Where Galahad is impressive is in his defensive and racing capabilities. Your speed on open ground is 96 kilometers per hour, which makes you one of the fastest Gears on the course. Your light armor is supplemented by a shield which you can use to cover your foroward or right arcs. In addition to your +2 maneuverability, Galahad is also equipped with acrobatic controls which makes you nearly impossible to hit at short range and makes you even more efficient with the vibrosword.

You cannot destroy another Gear with your vibrosword, but you can do significant damage to even the most heavily-armoroed targets with it, quite possibly enough damage to put them out of the race.

Ultimate speed and maneuverability comes at a price: your auxillary systems are exposed and you are very lightly armored. Even a glancing hit can cause you damage, and one solid hit will amost certainly put you out of the race. Therefore, speed is life and distance is life: put as much distance as you can between yourself and the other Gears, until such time as you're ready to pick them off one by one with your sword.
