Designer Notes
Blue Lightning is one of the fastest, most agile Gears on the track today. She's nearly impossible to hit, particularly at close range. In addition, the Medium Autocannon is one of the best guns on the track, with a very long range and punching power. By contrast, the Light Rocket Pack you're carrying is more a psychological weapon than anything you can expect to do any real damage with. You're also carrying a vibroblade and three hand grenades for close combat. Blue Lightning's acrobatics come at a price: the acrobatic manuevering system is fragile and easily damaged. Hits on your auxillary systems will be magnified, and a hard enough auxillary hit may cause a secondary explosion that will destroy your Gear. In addition, the Cheetah upon which Blue Lightning is based is the lighest-armored of any Gear. There's not much that you can do about this except stay out of the way of your opponents. Fortunately, Blue Lightning's speed and agility is made for this. Good luck!
