The sight of Joshua tossing his head to get his hair out of his eyes is a common one. It is quite rare to see him without a somewhat "devil-may-care" gleam in his eyes. His skin does not show the standard Trill mottling -- he is quick to point out this is an aspect of Joined Trill physiology. | |

He cheerfully gives credit for success to the people around him, even if the success was strictly based on Kile's work or ideas. He seems to have no arrogance in his make-up whatsoever, and can make friends with nearly anyone with ease. | |
| Interests: | Kile becomes interested in everything sooner or later, but only rarely spends more than a couple of months on any particular field of interest. In particular, though, Kile is a gifted linguist and cultural scholar who speaks more than three dozen languages -- it is this unusual knowledge of how various species thinks that allows him to see problems and solutions in unusual ways. | Stardate 50818.3: | CO: Captain Jonah Barret, CO, U.S.S. Renegade: Rating: Superior. Midshipman Joshua Kile has, during his tour with us, proven himself an oustanding asset to this ship. During his training cycle, this vessel came under Dominion attack while Kile was the helm. Unable to switch helm officers in the midst of the confrontation, Kile retained the position during the battle, and carried himself with the confidence and poise not often seen in so junior an officer. It is my pleasure to grant him a Superior rating, and I wish him luck in his future endeavors with Starfleet Exploration. | |
