Starfleet Record: Commander Jason AldurJason Aldur
Post:Chief Helmsman
U.S.S. Gryphon, NCC-85423-A
Species:Human Male
Birthplace:Diaspora Colony, Titan, Sol System
Age:28

Physical characteristics:
Height/Weight:1.85 meters / 85 kilograms
Hair/Eyes:Black / Blue
Description:Jason Aldur is of above-average height, lanky, and with a runner's build. The Aldur family shares sharp, unrevealing facial features and an aquiline nose. Jason wears his hair long, usually tied into a pony tail that stretches one-third of the way down his back. His skin tone is darker than average, recalling his Diasporan Spanish ancestors.
Notes:The early space pioneers and colonists of Earth's Diasporan Era (circa 2000-2075 old date) fled the chaos of Earth's Eugenics Wars and Post-Atomic Horror to colonize Mars, Titan, and Mimas. Because of the fragile nature of their early spacecraft, and the unsufficient radiation shielding they carried, Diasporan descendants often display subtle genetic variations from human stock. Odd hair and eye colors are common, as are very subtle psionic abilities.

Personality characteristics:
Marital status:Single
Family:Father: SF LCdr. Terrence Aldur (deceased, Wolf 359); Mother: Beth Wallace Aldur; Brother: Capt. Brian Aldur, Commanding Officer, U.S.S. Coronado; Sister: Dr. Theresa Aldur, Daystrom Institute
Dominants:Hot-headed, passionate, intelligent
Notes:Jason Aldur is the antithesis of the residents of Earth's early colonies. While most of them are stable, quiet, and introverted, Jason is passionate and extroverted. His hot-headed nature sometimes lands him in more trouble than he can handle. He enjoys the company of people, and can be quite charming when he wants to be, which is usually in the presence of a beautiful woman. He is also very intelligent, sometimes anticipating and answering a question before it is asked. He thinks quickly... but even then, he sometimes acts before his thinking is complete...
Interests:Aldur is part of a tradition of pilots extending back to Earth's 20th century, and considers himself one with the "barnstormers" and crazy test pilots of that era. There is no separation in his mind between flying in atmosphere, and helming a starship... one is just the natural extension of the other. He is fascinated by every aspect of flying, from the mechanics of generating power, to the expression of that power in movement. Before flying any new craft, he makes an extensive study of its mechanics, engineering, and capabilities. He also enjoys reading about other flying ships and modes of flight in his spare time.

Performance Evaluations:
Stardate 49694.2:CO: Captain Jonah Barret, CO, U.S.S. Renegade: Rating: Satisfactory. I've now had the experience of having both of the Aldur brothers aboard my ship, and I must say: they're absolutely nothing alike. While his brother is efficient and introverted, Ensign Jason Aldur is excitable and rarely keeps his opinions to himself. While it's quite possible that he's a better pilot and helmsman than even his brother, his personality sometimes gets the better of his judgement. I recommend a patient CO for his first regular tour of duty...
