Hey all, I'm in the middle of a fairly large move right now so I
apologize, but this will be short and sweet ;-)
Sim Title: "Tuberider", Part 2

During the Sim:

The Defenders made the choice to voluntarily announce their hidden
position to the Pfhor and explain that their presence in the system
was not purposeful. This "good faith" revelation seemed to have high
merit with the Pfhor who did not press hostilities on their former
adversary (lower-case "a", hehe). As the sim begins, things are very
quiet in the system, nearly too quiet, and many of those who remember
fighting the Pfhor are questioning the silence. Most of the action is
inside Xanadu's Fourth Chamber where the Tuberider is taking on
passengers and crew in preparation for it's maiden voyage. Those now
in Xanadu's Fourth include: Lora Kor, Drexler, Savant, and Bentall.
With a distinct lack of notable orders from the Flag, Daren begins
planning an away mission to the surface of the third moon Ahnto in
order to gain some insight into the native culture and their
interaction with the Pfhor, but he is interrupted when the Xur make an
unexpected but not surprising entrance into the system. Rather than
quickly stand up in defense of the area, Coronado and the other
Defenders hold back and see what the Pfhor have planned. Coronado
instead moves in fast defense of Xanadu, setting up a perimeter around
the asteroid and its forces inside.
The Xur are never quick on the gun, and almost calmly set up a
defensive perimeter as before. But such calm cannot last when two
sides in opposition are in such close proximity, and soon the battle
is on...again. The Pfhor are first to act against the aggressors, but
Coronado and the Defender quickly lend support. The Xur begin firing
their energy spheres and the tension is thick as the thought of even
one subverted Pfhor Destroyer being created in this fight.
The moves of the Xur are nearly as identical as before as second group
of carriers rift into the system. Coronado begins moving with her
escort ships as the Xur formation withers in one area due to Pfhor
bombardment. She sets course on the first of a handful of high speed
false matter passes followed by her smaller escort ships. Later,
spheres hit a pair of Pfhor transports and the subversion begins.
With former enemies and current enemies surrounding them, the
Defenders choose not to fire on the subverted ships until the Pfhor
have done so on their own. This hesitation pays off, and Coronado
assits in the destruction of the transports as she finishes an attack
run. Two of the surviving Xur carriers open rifts out of the system,
and another system is defended from Xur influence.
