 "Acknowledged, Aurora 2.  Be prepared to fall back if there's any sort
 of gravimetric effect from the gate.  We're not sure what effect
 launching a probe is going to have on it."

 "Acknowledged, Tuberider.  We're surrounded by nothing out here. 
 Which direction is back again?"

 "I'm really starting not to like you, Aurora 2."

 "Cut the chatter, people.  Stand by to launch on my command, and...
 launch."

 "Probe is away."

 "Good telemetry.  We confirm probe on course and has locked on the
 gate.   Probability cluster diameter estimated at two-one meters."

 "Transmitting energy burst now."

 "Confirmed.  Gate is opening.  Congratulations, Doctor Lopez.  Looks
 like your calculations were right on the money."

 "Probe has reached the cluster.  Probe has passed through."

 "That's a rog, probe is gone.  Still receiving telemetry.  Relaying
 data now.  No gravimetric distortion as yet.  As a matter of fact,
 had the probe not disappeared, we still wouldn't know that something
 was there.   Transmitting our sensor readings now."

 "Very good, Aurora 2.  Continue to relay."

 "Probe is above a class M!  Someone start downloading astrometric
 data right away.  I want to know where that planet is--"

 "Probe is not, say again, not in orbit.  I estimate three-seven
 minutes until we lose the probe in the planet's upper atmosphere. 
 There's not enough thrust aboard to compens--"

 "No worries there.  A Wraith or a Spectre would be in good shape.  We
 could establish an orbit without difficult--"

 "This is Doctor Lopez.  I need a reverse field scan of the emergence
 zone above the planet.  I need to know how the cluster reacted to
 being opened in that manner, and if there's even a gate there to see."

 "We'll do what we can to provide it to you, Doctor."

 "I've got life signs!  No evidence of civilization as yet, but I'm
 definitely reading animal life signs, both on the dirt and in the
 water."

 "Artificial satellite in planetary orbit... and I've got a possible
 Jjaro energy signature!  They've been here before, folks!"

 "Inbound energy signature... I've got some kind of spacecraft, also in
 or-- it's breaking orbit.  Confirm intelligent life in the target area
 and it's coming over to say hello--"

 "Tuberider, Aurora 2.  We're reading an increase in energy readings
 from that spacecra-- damn.  Tuberider, Aurora 2.  Loss of signal from
 the probe, say again, loss of signal, loss of telemetry."
