Teaser and Pre-Sim:

Tuberider discovers a planet and an alien spacecraft in orbit in
Xanadu's Fourth Chamber.
During the Sim:
---------------
Things continue to be rather quiet following the signing of the treaty
between the Pfhor and Reor'sa. Coronado has dispatched its Ji'sa
guests and taken on an old crew member. Commander Zunite Oswald, now
simply "Ms." Zunite Oswald, returns as a civilian scientist charged
with conducting warp field experiments using Coronado's own slipstream
core as a test bed.
The Xur manage to return to the system, this time they bring something
interesting and as yet unidentified to the party. An object, towed by
one of the larger carriers has an unfavorable response on Coronado and
her Defender counterparts: both the slipstream core and main warp core
become lifeless. Coronado, as quickly as it can, attempts to make its
way back to the safety of Xanadu while main power quickly fails.
The object apparently has no effect on the Pfhor ships, and a
Destroyer begins mobilizing toward the Xur incursion. Down in
Engineering, the team begins to figure out what's happening to the
ship's power systems and they quickly find themselves with a new
helper. Ms. Oswald seems to simply not be able to avoid a power
crisis, and she quickly lends support...hoping that she won't get
yelled at later on.
The Xurian forces set up exactly as they did the previous times, with
another wave entering after a sufficient perimeter has been formed.
This new weapon is so far the only thing that is unique.
Meanwhile, deep in the Fourth Chamber, Tuberider's initial recon probe
has been destroyed and a group of small ships, presumably fighters are
heading in the direction of the 4th Chamber CIC.
By way of a micro warp jump, Coronado closes most of the remaining
distance to Xanadu and soon is safely inside the asteroid starship.
With things finally a bit relaxed, except for the lingering presence
of the Xur who seem content to simply wait on the outskirts of the
system, focus on the ship turns to the flag channels and the four
vessels approaching from within Xanadu. The vessels reach the
beginning of the Fourth Chamber and continue to the third, nearly
ignoring the new Defender presence there. Kelaka and others begin to
follow the ships into the Third and then Second chamber. Just as
Coronado readies herself to join the pursuit, the ships descend toward
Alexandria.
And outside Xanadu, the Defender Spectres and Wraiths begin opening
fire on the Xur threat.

Fraser and his character, Jeremy Ironside, have been one of the
cornerstones of the Coronado sim for nearly six years, and it is
impossible to imagine Coro without him! Congrats, Fras! :)
