Sim Title: "This Day, This Place", Part 1
Teaser and Pre-Sim:

Another excerpt from the future interview with Jason Rommety, former
Reorsan President. He specifically addresses the tact, or lack
thereof, he expressed when made the now famous call to the Starfleet
Admirals. He doesn't appear the least bit apologetic, and rather
upholds his historical decisions.
During the Sim:
---------------
Commodore William Daren immediately calls a Senior Staff meeting and
broadcasts it to the entire ship as the Science Packet from Reor'sa
arrives alongside them in the nebula, with a fighter escort. In the
meeting, Daren plays the speech/message given by Rommety to the
Starfleet Admirals. He then explains that he will be openly
denouncing the demands made by the President in an effort to continue
the ongoing mission he feels he has always been a part of: getting USS
Coronado and crew home - to the Milky Way.
He apologizes to Maiko D'rall, and all other Reorsan nationals serving
on Coronado, but tells them that they very likely will not be able to
continue their service to the vessel. He explains that Coronado will
change course for the planet right away to return all Reorsans who
wish to remain with their people, home. Maiko resigns, as expected,
and leaves to pack her belongings.
On Reor'sa, many of the former Flag Officers have gathered at a
cottage purchased some time ago by Jeremy Ironside. They relax and
enjoy the day, soaking up the real environment around them.
Once outside the nebula, Daren transmits an "open letter" of Peace to
the Civilian Government of Reor'sa in which he politely announces his
intention to stand firm to his Starfleet loyalties, and not acquiesce
to the President's demands.
Some time later, Tebrun Lora Kor is approached by two Reor'san
Security Officers and told to come with them to the Defense Ministry
immediately. They are unspecific as to why, but very adamant that he
accompany them.
Coronado is, perhaps surprisingly, granted authority to enter Reor'san
space and approach the planet on a specific heading.
