Notes from the Captain:
We had alot of absences this week, so this is no doubt going to be an
important synopsis for some to read through. Excellent work everyone,
there was a lot going on, and even a time shift involved in one
particular "scene" of the sim. Well done!

Sim Title: "Ignorance is Bliss", Part 3
Teaser and Pre-Sim:

Admiral Lora Kor prepares for his meeting with Nexus Representative
Olmy Ap Sennon, with Starfeel Marine protection not far away.
During the Sim:
---------------
Coronado's status is officially changed back to "active" as the final
repairs and patches to the forward section of Deck 8 are completed
following the Tar na zee infection. The formerly infected sections
are still bare in comparison to what they were, but all computer and
power related pathways have since been replaced.
Captain Savant has successfully deciphered the location of the next
subspace tear: inside the large nebula 80 LYs "northwest" of Reor.
The Flag appears set to dispatch a scouting party at once, 83 days
before the tear is supposed to make it's appearance.
Meanwhile, General Ironside has the Marine Pilots that have been
testing the Nightmare fighters for the past few days dispatched down
the 4th Chamber to do some scouting of their own.
Coronado formerly receives her orders to scout the large nebula. The
nebula will render most sensors inoperative as well as most subspace
equipment. The ansible will not function once inside the nebula and
Coronado will have very limited sight through the navigational
sensors. Slipstream drive usually affected by this type of nebula has
been modified on the 6 hour journey to function. The ship will need
slipstream to cover the huge nebula.
Inside Xanadu, Defender eyes try to make out the Nexus ship and just
what the technology may be there. In the 4th Chamber the Nightmares
undergo combat testing as Lieutenant Somansky learns to manipulate the
unique holographic displays.
Coronado and escorts finally arrive outside the nebula. They give
final orders and deploy three Spectres as visual scouts both fore and
aft. Once inside they bring the modified slipstream drive online and
begin scouting the nebula. On a course toward the center of the
nebula, both of Coronado's fore scouting Spectres discover a out of
place energy variance which looks like a wake in the mix of stellar
gasses. They proceed deeper and discover three Xur Carriers!
