ugh, what a crappy weekend...anyway, here's the Sim Report :-)
Sim Title: "Ignorance is Bliss", Part 2
Teaser and Pre-Sim:

In a continuation of the "Grandpa Joe" Fisher scene from Coronado's
future, we find out that Xanadu causes the very tears that it is
usually seen repairing. We also learn that sooner or later Xanadu
will surely destroy M64 and that in this future the USS Odyssey has
gone somewhere where time and change have no meaning to prevent that
from happening.
During the Sim:
---------------
Most of USS Coronado's Deck 8 forward section has been gutted. What
once was a corroidor, bulkheads, and rooms is now largely nothing but
a few stripped away sections of the ships bare skeleton. The price of
subversion it seems, is total and complete amputation. The
Engineering crew begins work to replace much of the now missing
computer and power connections that once flowed through this area in
order to return the ships functionality to 100%.
Meanwhile in Xanadu's 4th Chamber, word has been recieved that the
"partials" have all been found dead, and speculation begins to run
wild as most attempt to wonder exactly who they were...and what they
were. Were they clones, or possibly "disposable" soldiers and crew?
Also, the Flag Staff has been ordered to use past locations of tears
to attempt to predict the location of the next one.
Commander Tal and Civilian Zunite Oswald take shuttle Diana into
Xanadu's Second Chamber to observe and report on the Jjaro Nightmare-
class ships in action.
Commander Farley gets into a bit of a shouting match with Commodore
Daren when a member of his Engineering staff dies during the weapons
systems test. The unfortunate accident is apparently due to
incomplete damage and repair reports, that are not making their way to
the CO.
Savant reports that according Alicia there are 90 days until the next
tear formation, and Stephen Gregg makes an appearance at the Flag
Meeting. He comes with another warning and reminds us that this
thread belongs to the Adversary and it is on the brink of being cut
from the spindle to "prevent damage to the garment". He tells us we
must quickly find another way of saving. Before leaving he whispers
something each to Lora Kor and General Ironside.
The admiral wants to find the location of the next tear and use the
machinery of the Third Chamber to reverse the effect Xanadu apparently
has on M64. The question of how it will work or if it will work is
all that is left...
