Notes from the Captain:
A short, yet interesting sim. Looks like most of you need to get on
the line for unemployment benefits. ;-)
Sim Title: "Mass Resignation", Part 3
Teaser and Pre-Sim:

An except from a press interview with the former Reorsan President
Jason Rommety, conducted in the apparent future regarding a decision
and call he had made years ago. He explains how many of the M64 races
came to form up in an Alliance of sorts.
During the Sim:
---------------
Coronado continues to lay low in an isolated part of the nebula as
repairs finish and they wait for their escort ships to join them.
With the increased liklihood of further Xur attacks, Commodore Daren
called the escort ships in an attempt to strengthen their presence in
the nebula.
In Xanadu's Fourth Chamber, the Admiral and his staff are preparing to
attend another meeting with the Nexus representatives when their
activities are interrupted by a transmission from the Reorsan
President, Jason Rommety. Rommety, surrounded by representatives of
nearly every major known race in M64, communicates directly to the
Starfleet Admirals, including Brian Aldur via holographic
transmission.
Rommety declares that a civilian alliance has been formed among the
races of M64. He further declares that they intend to form a military
of their own and that the Starfleet presence is being operated without
"due consent" of the new civilian authority. He calls for the
"illegal" military force to be immediately and unconditionally
surrenderred or for them to leave their space immediately.
Aldur and the others, including Lora Kor and General Ironside,
acquiese to the President's request and resign their Starfleet
comissions in the possibility of working as part of the military fleet
to be formed. The word spreads quickly to most ships, except one.
Lieutenant Somansky, escorting a fleet of Science vessels to the
nebula attempts to pass the orders along to Commodore Daren. With the
communications delay however, it seems difficult to determine if the
message was recieved, and if so - how it was received.
