Sim Title: "Death... But Not For You", Part 2

Xanadu has come under attack again by Xur forces that have presumably
learned the secret of the asteroid starship's location from subverted
Allaince craft taken during the battle in the nebula. Coronado
answers Xanadu's fleet-wide distress call and rockets to Longshot
from Penthia ignoring their plans to stop at Reor'sa once repairs were
completed. She remains to be over an hour away from her destination
however so the crew can only prepare for the worst.
With the first wave of Xur attacks over with and a second wave
imminent, Captain Drexler, the man in command of the Xanadu facility,
has chosen to board a slipstream packet in order to meet
representatives of the Zhedra to begin formal diplomatic talks. He
seems to have acted too quickly however as a new rift formation in the
Longshot system gives way to the very same Zhedra freighter met by
Banshees on patrol not long ago.
The Zhedra have come to find out why the Alliance has not withdrawn
from "Concordat space" and requests to speak with superiors
immediately. The Zhedra do not identify Xanadu as a ship at first but
notice it is not like any other normal asteroid. They demand to know
from where Savant is communicationg with them from. They grow
increasingly angry with their Alliance counterparts who continue to
refuse to answer their questions about what Xanadu Station is or what
it is.
Drexler informs the Zhedra that they are having difficulty with their
propulsion systems and want to leave the system, but that they are
delayed in doing so. The vessel changes course and moves directly
for Xanadu with weapons armed. They begin firing on the weapon
emplacements around the entrance of Xanadu's first chamber. The
Zhedra accuse the Alliance of "reinforcing a planetary body" in their
space.
Drexler informs the Zhedra that the asteroid posses a "great
technology" that allows "whole asteroids" to move "great distances"
and he wishes to share it with them in order to promote peace between
their two peoples. The weapons firing stops for reasons that are
unclear and soon the Zhedra ship rifts away from the system. Minutes
later, the Zhedra answer back with a great technology of their own.
A probe rifts into the system transmitting a warning signal to the
Alliance that their presence in Concordat space is not authorized for
a final time. Savant identifies the probe as a trih zheem weapon and
it is on a heading directly toward the Longshot star.
Xanadu translates to the Regency system just as the Longshot star
explodes. Coronado, on course to Longshot, picks up the massive
explosion on sensors and quickly needs to divert her slipstream
course.
In the end, Xanadu has a new "home for now" and Coronado is on its
way to the asteroid starships defense, but it may just take the
planned layover in Reor'sa this time around.
