During the Sim:

It has been about a week since the battle in the nebula and Coronado
has been undergoing repairs at the shipyard facilities of the Penthia
system. The system is crowded with ships from the recent battle, most
undergoing structural repairs or having tar na zee infections
carefully tended to and removed.
Commander Tal calls Commodore Daren after reading a disturbing report
from Alliance Command. Craig Serrold-Fel was found murdered on
Reor'sa, making "them" the eight and ninth former Coronado Crew Member
to be killed in the past three weeks. Canterbury is also briefed
along with Daren in the Captain's Ready Room. The Security Chief is
ordered to take a closer look at the murders and begin an immediate
investigation. Commander Tal has the task of putting out the call to
other former Coronado crew members that are at possible risk.
General Ironside is visting the hospital room of his daughter Zunite
Oswald and his newborn grandchildren on Reor'sa. He takes the call
from Tal and is content with trusting in the Alliance Security forces
on Reor'sa to maintain the protection of the others that may be at
risk.
In the Longshot system, Xanadu Command is alerted to the presence of
an unidentifed ship in orbit of a red giant. The contact is relayed
to Xanadu by Banshee Flight-21. The ship responds to an identification
request and call itself a part of the Zheda Concordat and that they
have claimed the region. The Banshees are instructed to leave the
area peacefully and notify the Zheda representatives that a Diplomatic
team will arrive soon to make formal contact.
