Sim Title: "Lost Soul", Part 3
Teaser and Pre-Sim:

During the Sim:

Coronado took a serious hit to the stern from a subversion weapon and
is working on solving their troubles quickly, or they'll lose the
chance to be a part of the pending battle. Both conduits that carry
fuel to the nacelles were partially subverted during the encounter
with the Xur sphere, and so Coronado cannot make any slipstream or
warp jumps until a solution can be found. Engineering is hard at work
on a possibility, And 'Pony-1' is dispatched to find Renegade and ask
for her immediate assistance.
On Redeemer, the Wraith that has been modified to seal the tear,
Tebrun Lora and Dr. Rachel Kennedy discuss the future of the Kor
symbiont. It has been removed from Tebrun and now needs to be
implanted into a new host. Tebrun has charged Dr. Kennedy with this
as his final request before he pilots the Wraith in the tear and gives
his life. Kennedy leaves the Wraith on a shuttlepod bound for
Blackrazor with the Kor symbiont in stasis.
Xanadu prepares for its translation to the Longshot system just as
General Ironside receives a communicaton from Reor'sa that his
daughter Zunite has gone into labor. He must make a critical choice
to stay with Xanadu or leave to be at his daughter's side at such a
wonderful time in her life. Xanadu proceeds with it's translation
just as the anomaly starts to appear in the nebula.
Coronado's main power is still effectively down for the count as the
battle around the tear begins. Everyone on the bridge is uneasy as
they sit on the sidelines listening in to the chatter and viewing the
occasional sensor feed. Most seem to be wondering why Xanadu hasn't
shown up yet. When Coronado's main power is finally restored using
two shuttles as power conduits, they get to enter the final stages of
the battle. Coronado isn't as maneuverable with the burdensome
shuttles having to stay so close so Kelaka is dispathed with Commander
Tal and others at the ready. Kelaka quickly finds Lora's Wraith and
takes up the escort effort.
General Ironside leaves Xanadu's Command Center and boards a
slipstream packet to be at his daughter's side on Reor'sa.
Redeemer makes its run at the tear with escorts following and Dr.
Kennedy monitoring from Blackrazor. Just before the end, a tech at
Kennedy's side reports reading a second lifesign on the Wraith with
Tebrun -- nonhumanoid. The mystery will have to remain unsolved as
the fight to protect Redeemer succeeds and Tebrun Lora flies straight
into the subspace tear to his death. The anomaly glows brightly then
vanishes.
Most should probably feel victorious, but they don't. In the end,
they've lost one of their own.
