During the Sim:

The Hexamon are ready to initiate the process of the sundering. All
that they need to do now is transfer crucial information from
Alexandria before the separation can occur. They estimate four to
five days to complete this. The pressure is on the Alliance fleet to
come up with a solution to the problem brought forth by the hologram
message of "Darek Smith".
Coronado is running her usual patrol of the Regency system when a
small group of ships enters. A Wraith and two small escorts. The
Wraith reads as having a dormant Tar na zee infection onboard.
Commander Tal on the bridge is at first alarmed by this surprise, but
when the lead Furious ship hails Coronado looking for Commodore Daren,
she relaxes a bit. The ship has been sent as part of Daren's request
to test the possible treatment for the infection spearheaded by his
Chief Engineer, Commander Farley.
This specimen is troublesome however, since the infection is not
active it is highly unlikely any attempt to use an antivirus on it
will fail. Farley knows he needs to find a way to activate the
infection and introduce his treatment, but he is unsure as to how.
Meanwhile on Xanadu, General Ironside comes up with an interesting way
to try and limit the Xur access to Regency. By setting up an
artificial gravity field, they may be able to force the incoming Xur
to rift-in to a specific location. They would need specific data from
the unsubverted Xur, however.
In the middle of one attempt to tame the tar na zee, a flight of
subverted Xur Banshees rifts nearby. Coronado takes up an immediate
pursuit but loses the ships and a LORASON pulse does not reveal their
exit location. Coronado quickly turns back to it's Wraith. In the
end, it is clear that Farley still needs to grasp the overall concept
of how the tar na zee works in order to come up with a successful
treatment.
