 all of us who have lived through it, I pity poor Kor the most, whose
 long life and perfect memory will carry the stories of these days
 hundreds of years into the future.  His choice with regard to the
 Odyssey does not surprise me in the least.  I wouldn't want to
 remember that knowledge for the rest of time either... but I also
 have no choice in the matter."
