Sim Title: "Reunion Day", Part 1
Teaser and Pre-Sim:

Tebrun Lora Kor watches a recording from Chimaera's and Cerberus's
flight recorders showing their attackers... and thinks back to the
first time he performed a similar task, watching the Pfhor crush the
Reorsan starship, Dauntless.
During the Sim:
---------------
Coronado held position in Reor orbit, along with at least half of
the other ships that the Defenders can currently field. Rumors
were swirling about the fleet that these new attackers are entirely
unknown and that a number of ships are being held in reserve to deal
with an attack should a new attack come. As a a result, the crews
of the ships, including Coro, have little official to do but wait.
The major exception to this was aboard R.S. Cerberus, still under
repair from her encounter with this new species within Xanadu.
Commander Ma'Aru has been placed in temporary command of the escort
pending the assignment of a permanent crew. In the meantime, the
ship needs to be repaired and refitted... and her former crew needed
to be "unglued" from their consoles, as one of the officers involved
in this job put it. Commander Ma'Aru, with Commander Farley,
settled into this rather grisly job.
With the Admiral off the ship in consultations about the threat, the
Whitestone staff and the Bridge crew spent their time watching ships
come in and go out. There was a frenetic level of activity near
Reor, with ships from every major nearby race present. In
particular, Loktai and Camelynian ships were common, and we spotted
the first Apori ships that we've seen in weeks. In addition,
several new Reorsan ships made an appearance, including R.S.
Destiny, apparently having completed her 16 months of construction.
Also present were two new small slipstream escorts, R.S. Furious
and R.S. Repulse.
These latter two ships were the cause of some concern when General
Ironside determined that they had been constructed in the Penthia
system, and that the materials that they had been built from had
been bought and paid for at the nearby Tarndare mining facility.
That wasn't so worrisome as the fact that what was being traded for
the materials was high-speed computer systems, among other things.
The Tarndare aren't the only ones benefitting from Alpha Quadrant
high technology, either: Savant spent the morning in conference with
the Boratis, seemingly doing whatever she could to advance their
technology.
Other members of the crew relaxed with their own pursuits, but both
the investigations and relaxation ended when the Taer reported
finding a system under siege by the same blue-grey globes we
encountered in Xanadu. The system is uncharted, and far to the
"south" of Reorsan space. Coronado and a number of the other ships
nearby were ordered to break orbit and head to this location to
learn what we could...
