Sim Title: "Spindle", Part 2
Teaser and Pre-Sim:

Tebrun Lora Kor reaches the Spindle... and realizes that he
recognizes one of the residents. In the process, he hears voices
from one end of the thread and the other...
During the Sim:
---------------
The crew dealt with the aftermath of Rear Admiral Lora Kor's
disappearance, starting in Engineering where he disappeared.
Several of the officers gathered there to look for clues to the
disappearance while Dr. Reed took samples to determine whether Lora
Kor could have simply been disintegrated rather than disappear. His
findings were inconclusive, but he did find evidence supporting the
fact that Lora Kor was in fact at the heart of whatever the
phenomenon was.
Several of the crew were experiencing odd phenomonen, however. Lt.
Colonel Wayne, aboard one of the Raptors, turned to consult his
helmsman about something... only to find that his helmsman was
missing, replaced by a man he didn't know. The Colonel had to be
convinced at length that this particular helmsman had been serving
under him for at least a year, though the Colonel didn't remember
him. In much the same way, both Colonel Ironside and Lieutenant
D'rall noted aspects of the ship that seemed unfamiliar in striking
ways. Dr. Reed eventually examined all three officers to find
differences between their "biochemical signatures" and the supposed
systems of their birth. The signatures do not match, leading to the
conclusion that those three officers are not from the planets on
record for them... which is impossible.
Ensign Kingswell, meanwhile, struck upon the idea of replaying the
accident in the holodeck, at a greatly reduced speed and with the
results of both the internal and external sensors as part of the
display. At first, this appeared to be a dead end. Even looking at
the playback at one-quarter speed, Kingswell couldn't see any
anomalies. During this investigation, Captain Daren entered the
holodeck to transfer the external sensor results and Kingswell
decided to freeze the simulation at the exact moment of Lora Kor's
disappearance with this new data. This produced a startling image:
Lora Kor sheathed in lightning... but with a half-meter sphere of
lightning hovering over his head. Kingswell turned toward trying to
determine what this apparition might be.
Savant monitored this hologram and noted the similarities between
the frozen image and an image in her head: the image of Jeremy
Ironside also ringed in lightning, possibly dying. This seemed
impossible, as Ironside is decidedly not dead. It wasn't until
Savant saw the half-meter sphere of lightning in Kingswell's
hologram that she realized that her own image of Ironside frozen in
time also looked more "complete" with his own sphere of lightning.
Though the image still seems off in a few details, Savant now felt
like she had a more or less complete vision... but what does the
vision mean?
Both Savant and General Ironside attempted to engage Alicia in
conversation about this matter, but found that Alicia was "busy"
with the aftermath of the disruption to the singularities and
couldn't... or wouldn't respond to many specific questions...
