This episode was written by Aggie aka Captain Craig Serrold, so any
tomatoes that are to be hurled should be hurled in his general
direction. Of course, that doesn't mean that it's going to play out
exactly as he thinks it would (this *is* Coro, after all). ;)

Sim Title: "Will of the One", Part 1
Teaser and Pre-Sim:
-------------------
Tebrun Lora Kor is promoted to Commodore, but it could certainly be
under happier circumstances. Demonstrations advocating a peace
treaty with the Pfhor Hegemony are now widespread on the surface of
Reorsa, and Aldur and the other members of the Admiralty are
contemplating a guerilla war. As a result, the allied ships are
being reallocated into Task Groups and Lora Kor is placed in command
of one of them. Lora Kor requests permission to keep Coronado as
his flagship, and permission is granted. Aldur then asks to speak
with Alados ha-Soron...
During the Sim:
---------------
Coronado remains in the area of the Reor system, assisting in the
scouting of the general area in advance of the Pfhor Hegemony
deadline. In the meantime, there is much work still to be done
around the ship. We have received the materials and equipment that
we will need to install our false matter shield generators, but
there is a shortage of technicians and we will therefore have to do
the actual installations ourselves. The same applies to our new
ansibles. We have received several of the instantaneous
communications devices, but will have to install them ourselves.
This gives the Engineering and Operations teams a lot of work. In
addition, there is still a desire among the allies to know exactly
how the ansible works, especially if we are going to rely on it for
our key communications. As a result, Commander Daren and several
other officers gather to closely investigate one of the objects.
As we are working on our repairs, reports come out of the Pitstop
system of a Camelynian ship under attack. Checking, we quickly
discover that the attacker's identity is surprising: Apori! It
soon becomes apparent that Apori ships are attacking virtually any
non-Apori ship in the system. A few, including Savant and Captain
Serrold, are quick to point out that the Apori have never been
completely forthcoming about their relationship with the Pfhor.
In the meantime, the Commodore Lora Kor orders Coronado into the
Pitstop system at best possible speed to investigate. While en
route, we receive another distress call, this one from U.S.S.
Swiftsure, also under attack by Apori vessels. Before we can go to
the aid of the other Starfleet vessel, we reach the Camelynian ship
and evacuate her crew.
Once Coro is again underway, the Commodore expresses worry about
whether our partial false matter shields would protect us from Apori
weapons, known to be devastating at close range. Without direct
evidence, all anyone can do is speculate and Lora Kor decides to
risk them. This proves to be a good decision; as Coro approaches
Swiftsure's position, she comes under attack by two Apori escort
destroyers. The escort's first shot hits Coro's false matter
shields and is deflected... Coro goes to red alert.
