Notes from the Captain:
A great ending to a great sim! Well done, everyone! Much more in
control than last week, and a lot of good character... ummm...
development. ;)
Very terrible news. :/ Due to RL concerns, Ragarok will be unable to
make Coronado sims in the future. Ragarok was Coro's longest serving
Science Officer, serving almost three times the length of our previous
longest serving Science Officer, Commander Lan DuLac. For some reason,
Coro always gets awesome science officers. ;) I wish Ragarok all the
best, and I hope our trend of awesome science officers continues.

Sim Title: "Regression", Part 3
Coro continued to be partially disabled by the regression virus, which
forces those afflicted to regress to previous sets of memories. In
humans, this usually involves slowly regressing to childhood. In the
Captain's case, this meant regressiong to the memories of former hosts.
The Captain's former host Belar soon assumed control of Tebrun's body.
Belar spent some time trying to strike a deal, first with Dalton, then
with the new assistant medical officer, Ensign Ungtae Brie. The deal
was that Belar would pass along information leading to a cure... in
exchange for the ability to take over the Captain's body!
Meanwhile, Commander Dejat and Commander Daren returned to and infiltrated
Starbase 75, hoping to somehow regain control of the base from the base's
Klingon commander, KarQ. KarQ unfortunately had also been affected by the
virus, and apparently regressed to a time when the Klingons and Federation
were at war. Finding himself aboard a Starfleet base, he apparently then
claimed it was a "prize of war" and "contacted the Klingons for
reinforcements." Dejat and Daren's task was made much simpler by the fact
that KarQ had disabled the rest of the crew. By stunning the regressed
Klingon, they were able to regain control of the base.
Meanwhile, Doctor Dalton, also showing signs of regression, apparently
decided to take over the ship! Finding Wayne on the Bridge, who was
regressed to childhood, Dalton made the squadron leader his impromptu
tactical officer. The two then decided to attack Starbase 75. Luckily,
by the time their attack was launched, Daren and Dejat had taken over
the base. Lieutenant Farley took control of the ship from Dalton until
Doctor Ungtae used Belar's information to devise a cure to the virus.
Belar believed himself to have talked Ungtae into giving him control of
Tebrun's body, but the agreement was a ruse... all of those affected
were returned to normal by the cure.
