Coronado Crew Update:

This is my last official act as acting CO of the USS Coronado. As of
next week I will assume the role of Executive Officer while Jester aka
Commander Lora resumes command.

At the end of the sim Commander Lora awarded Lieutenant Commanders Bentall
and Dejat the Star Cross for Merit. (Awarded for outstanding effort in
running the sim while he was LOA)

Sim Title: "A Crack in the Mirror"

The real Bentall managed to subdue his double and immediatly ordered
him to be placed in the brig. He then contacted the Mirror ship and after
some discussion had the Mirror Ships CO beam over to state his and his crews
case for asking for asylum.

Upon his arrival it was learned that the Mirror Dominion had taken over the
Gamma, Alpha and Beta quadrants into one gigantic empire, which was still
know as the Dominion. They had also managed to conquer a third of the Delta
quadrant but had run into the Borg. The Mirror Borg make the borg in the
real universe look insignfigant by comparison. But so does the Mirror
Dominion. The Mirror Founders are known as the Masters and held the families
of the ship crews hostages so that they would do what they were told.

He also revealed the ultimate problem. The Masters had discovered an alien
artifiact that has enough power to send the entire Mirror Dominion Fleet
over to the real universe all at once and then they would proceed to conquer
this universe as well.

After some discussion Bentall decided that he would send over an engineering
team under the guard of some Marines to disable all offensive and defensive
systems. When this was complete the Coronado would escort the mirror ship to
Starbase 207 where they would inform Starfleet of the threat.

While they waited Doctor Barnes successfully tested a propsed antidote for
the poison that had felled Commander Lora so many months back. The antidote
was a success and Commander Lora is nearly fit enough to resume command.
Starfleet has sent orders that Bentall is to relinguish command to Lora and
take the Executive Officer position on the ship.
