Jarod sat in his ready room reading over some schematics of the Voyager when
he was interupted by his comm going off.
"Bentall here."
"We're coming into sensor and communications range with the Voyager
Captain." came the voice of Ensign Daren.
"On my way Ensign." Bentall got up and headed out to the bridge. "Open a
hailing frequencies."
"Open Sir."
Jarod looked at his XO and began to speak. "This Commander Bentall of the
USS Coronado. You are hearby ordered to heave to and surrender your ship to
us."
"I have a response coming in Captain, Voice only."
"On speakers Ensign."
Over the speakers came the voice of the stolen ships current commander. "I
hope you and your crew are prepared to die, Jarod. We will fight to the
death to please our Masters."
Jarod stood there is total shock. Sharing a look with his XO he could not
believe the voice coming through the speakers was his own.
