 Captain's Log, Stardate 50794.5

 The war is not going well.

 Even after only three weeks, the Dominion is turning out to be virtually
 unstoppable!  Starfleet seems to have completely underestimated the number
 of Jem'Hadar fighters and battlecruisers that were brought through the
 wormhole before it was rendered impassable.  DS9 has been captured, DS12
 is under almost continuous Dominion attack, and already more than 20
 Federation and Klingon ships have been destroyed or lost, presumed.

 It would probably be less frustrating if we were out there, but Coronado
 has been in dry dock for three weeks now, undergoing repairs and upgrades
 following our recent run-in with the Borg.  The ship's repairs are now
 complete, and several new holographic systems have been installed,
 including a brand new Bridge module with the new holographic projection
 viewer.  Should make managing combat situations much easier.

 We've finally received our orders: Coronado will be linking up with the
 Third Fleet for an infiltration run into Cardassian space.  Starfleet
 Intelligence suspects that there is a Jem'Hadar "breeding facility" on a
 planet in the Kradorak system.  The Third is heading there to investigate,
 and if need be, wipe it out.

 If the facility *is* there, we expect it to be heavily guarded...
