[18:57] This is one of those sims, and by extension, one of those episodes, that can go anywhere at all. I've started thinking of them as Skee- ball episodes. You flip the ball just so, aiming at that 50-point hole... but sometimes when I try one of these, I do an Alyssa Jones. ;) [18:57] ? [18:57] ROFL [18:57] LOL [18:58] That's gold. [18:58] I just watched that last night :) [18:58] * Brad is now known as CPS1_Drexler [18:58] Santi, in the flick Chasing Amy, a character named Alyssa Jones tries Skee-ball the first time. Her first throw is overhand, hard, and it bounces off the Skee-ball track and half-way across the arcade. ;) [18:58] ...for the first time... [18:59] and breaks a pin-ball machine ;) [18:59] * CCC (~cccurtis@dsta-aq129.pivot.net) has joined #uss-coronado [18:59] * CoroLCARS sets mode: +v CCC [18:59] Computer recognizes CCC. Authorization codes enabled. [18:59] CCC = Commander Jack C. Farley, Chief Engineering Officer. [18:59] nice [18:59] * CCC is now known as CREN_Farley [18:59] sounds like how I bowl [18:59] or was that Holden who breaks the pinball machine? bah, I just watched it, and already I can't remember :-p [18:59] I think Ben Breaks the pinball machine when she tells him...yeah [18:59] that she got laid last night, yeah [19:00] "What'd you do last night." "Got laid." *crash* [19:00] Alyssa's "bounce" causes the attendant (off-screen) to throw the ball back at them... ;) [19:00] One of the funnier scenes in that movie, to be sure. [19:01] * Savant (~mouse@h24-66-43-121.ed.shawcable.net) has joined #USS- Coronado [19:01] * CoroLCARS sets mode: +v Savant [19:01] Computer recognizes Savant. Authorization codes enabled. [19:01] Savant = Savant, Defenders Task Force 85.3, S-3: Group Logistics Officer. [19:01] But, on the flip-side, every once in a while a Skee-ball ep hits the 50 points hole. Anyway, that's why it's scheduled now and not in August. Might be great, might suck. [19:01] savant [19:01] Mousers. [19:01] hyello ^_^ [19:01] You have been warned. ;) [19:01] * LJtc_Canterbury (~jtgibson@d209-121-228-112.bchsia.telus.net) has joined #uss-coronado [19:01] * CoroLCARS sets mode: +v LJtc_Canterbury [19:01] Computer recognizes LJtc_Canterbury. Authorization codes enabled. [19:01] i'm on a cyber cafe, so - oop, what did i miss? [19:01] * Savant is now known as CRS3_Savant [19:02] So how much time passed in-character since last week? =) [19:02] 3, 4, 5 days. Maybe a full week. Depends on how aggressive you guys want to be about leaving, and how long Farley and Co can keep the HDS running. [19:03] So Canterbury would be at least on the road to recovery then. This is good. [19:03] we never use that damn system, and now we use it twice in as many months [19:03] OK, 2 after, and we're only missing LS. We'll get going. [19:03] 24/7/365! [19:03] * Jester is now known as RAGC_LoraKor [19:03] Wouldn't Coro need to be in the First Chamber to do this HDS move? :) [19:03] Captain, whenever you're ready. [19:03] * kari is now known as LTSI_Brooks [19:03] brb [19:03] First Chamber entrance, yeah. [19:03] LCARS, let's do the thing... We'll see. ;) Start with the briefing... [19:05] =Sim Briefing!= Please type "ack" after you've read it... [19:05] Stardate 240402.23: "Tuberider", Part 1, by Jester. [19:05] SUMMARY: Jugglers, by and large, don't start by juggling torches. [19:05] Coronado is currently some 100 light-years "northeast" of Reorsan space; among other things, we came here to investigate a spatial anomaly near a Pfhor-controlled system that matches the energy signature of a similar anomaly in J043 -- that anomaly was also associated with a time loop. [19:05] With the assistance of the asteroid-starship Xanadu and a Wraith Liberator modified for this purpose, we were able to collapse the anomaly, though not before the Xur arrived to try to prevent it. We eventually drove off the Xur fleet, collapsed the anomaly, and returned to Xanadu. [19:05] As appears to be her "custom" after collapsing an anomaly, Xanadu performed a Beckmann translation to the closest dwarf star in the area, possibly to recharge some system within the facility. Unfortunately, the closest dwarf star to the anomaly's former position is in a Pfhor-controlled system... [19:05] Briefing complete. [19:05] ack [19:05] * CRXO_Tal acknowledges with a crisp salute. [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ackety ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:05] ack [19:06] ack [19:06] As I mentioned, up to a week could have passed. Coronado is at the moment pinned to the First Chamber entrance, using her HDS to camouflage the entrance to look like rock. [19:07] No Pfhor ships have come to investigate since the first transport did so several days ago, but so far, nobody believes in taking any chances about running/not running the HDS. [19:07] Alicia, if asked, is both unconcerned and a little amused about the Pfhor presence in the facility, and tells anyone who asked that the ships in the area pose little threat. She seems disinclined to move the asteroid-starship at the moment, but won't get into why. [19:07] ...presence in the sytem, rather... [19:07] Any questions? [19:08] ::raises:: [19:08] Commander D'rall? [19:09] Is it safe to assume our engineless shuttle has been repaired by Engineering finally? ;) [19:09] Since obviously the HDS has been :) [19:09] Yes A few sims ago [19:09] ::nod of head:: Many thanks sir. It has a holographic projector. [19:21] CIC> Something expendable. Something we can destroy instead of leaving them a trail to follow if they don't respond well. [19:21] ::shakes her head:: My idea of leaving the bridge would entail going out in a shuttle and figuring out just what the hell is going on. [19:21] CIC I can rig up a probe to do the same. [19:21] CIC> ::smiles:: Hence my suggestion of a communication probe. Last time I checked probes aren't manned. [19:21] ::rolls her eyes at the second call from engineering:: +taps+ Mr. Canterbury, you should be well enough for light duty such as manning the tactical console. Report at your convenience. [19:22] SB> ::steps into the shuttlebay after resting to see about helping the technicians:: [19:22] E> +taps+ The forward emitters for the HDS are starting to drop off. [19:23] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [19:23] Q> ::smiles and picks up a PADD with his left hand, partially regretting it and transferring it over to his right, as he walks out of his quarters towards the bridge:: [19:24] 7H> ::takes the tray and walks over to a table, sits down and starts to eat, wondering why he hasn't heard anything about the flowers he sent Maiko:: [19:24] Helm, rotate us to bring aft emitters into position. Coordinate the HDS to maintain the field while we realign. [19:24] SB>::sees Dillon enter from his perch in the control room:: [19:24] X4> +taps+ Commodore, you haven't landed in a ditch, I hope. I'm afraid I was somewhat foggy a few days ago, and I can't recall where you might have left Kelaka. [19:24] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [19:24] E> Ensign prep for rotation of the HDS emitters [19:25] SB> ::walks over to one of the fighters and talks with a technician about the repairs being done:: [19:25] E> Aye Sir ::reaches over and taps the far side of his consol:: [19:25] Aye aye. ::mutters a curse under her breath even as she works in a slow thruster burn program for the rotation to coincide with holoimage maintenance:: [19:25] CIC> ::rises to stretch before sitting back down:: [19:25] X4> +taps+ Not that I wish to disturb you, but it's a good morning for a bit of flying, if you catch my meaning. [19:25] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [19:26] What was that, Ms. D'Rall? [19:26] X4> ::applies just enough edge to his voice to make it clear that he's feeling much better:: [19:26] 7H> No thanks. I'm done here... [19:26] 7H> ::sips his juice and takes a few more bites, then lets out a sigh:: ((She hated them. Or she's mad because I sent them? Otherwise why hasn't she said anything?)) [19:26] Nothing. Just repeating that tongue twister to myself. "She sells seashells by the seashore." [19:26] E> Ensign get a few teams moving on fixing what ever needs to be fixed on the forward emitters and HDS system. [19:26] CIC> What sort of a communications system do you need, General? From what I hear, Alicia is more or less indifferent to the fact that this is a Pfhor-held system. [20:04] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:05] SB>::sees Bentall with Savant walk in from his tower seat:: [20:05] ((Savant is still in the CIC, sorry, I shoulda put a +taps+)) [20:05] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:05] X4> K> ::begins a sprial course up and away from the interior surface of the Fourth Chamber:: You seem a bit... out of sorts, Captain. Still feeling as if you belong more in here than out there? ::indicates the surface of the cylinder:: [20:05] +taps+ ::grumbles:: Very well, Commander. Coordinate with the helm and tactical. And since you've had a signifcant time in which to repair that system, you can expect a full investigation into your department's efficiency. Am I clear, Commander? [20:05] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:05] SB>::turns to the OOW:: Just a day of joy riding for the fleet, I guess. [20:06] SB>::sees Bentall's flight plan roll in:: [20:06] CIC> That would be fantastic. I've always wanted a peaceful discourse with the Pfhor [20:06] SB> ::looks to his left and nods, before boarding the shuttle and sitting in the pilot's seat:: +taps+ Thanks Commander. Are you going to join me or are you already down there? [20:06] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:06] E> +taps+ Just like a pane of transparent aluminum, maam! [20:06] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:06] SB> :A hologram melted into being beside Bentall:: [20:06] +taps+ Bridge out. [20:06] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:06] Dia> ::pulls hard to port to go around an outcropping of rock, then sideslips left and up a bit to miss several trees:: [20:06] Q> ::scrolls through the PADD:: [20:06] ::turns to Prescot:: We're being invited to negotiate? This is surprising indeed. [20:07] K> ::seems distracted, but looks up at the admiral:: Ah, I ... maybe. I've got those feelings under control. I did hit my head pretty hard the other day. [20:07] E> ::Turns toward the far left of his consol to check on the status of the rear HDS system:: [20:07] SB> ::runs through the pre-flight checklist:: You want to fly us or shall I just follow your directions? ::smiles at the hologram:: [20:07] CIC> +com+ We have a vessel nearby to your system who, upon your and your protector's permission, could immediately move to initiate personal contact with you and your people from orbit. I would not be onboard this vessel, however, the crew of this vessel are well trained in diplomatic negotiations and would be pleased to conduct diplomatic proceedings with you. [20:07] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:07] E> How we looking? [20:07] E> Rear HDS Conduits are holding [20:08] E> For Now that is [20:08] SB> ::she stepped into the shuttle:: It's entirely up to you, Sir. [20:08] ::makes a note on her padd to try to rehire Zunite Oswald:: [20:08] X4> K> During the battle? I'm sorry, I was a bit distracted at that time. [20:08] E> Lets try to keep it that way as long as we can. [20:08] ::shakes his head:: Something is wrong. We have not spoken to a single Pfhor since the begining of this negotations [20:08] K> ::looks at the admiral with uncertainty at first, and then slowly realizes:: Do you remember anything, sir? [20:08] E> Doing the best we can Commander [20:09] E> Understood. Just wish she thought so. [20:09] SB> ::closes the shuttle hatch:: Eh, it's been awhile so I'll fly following your flight directions. ::completes the checklist:: +com+ Bridge from Commodore Bentall [20:09] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:09] ::glances at Prescot:: That's a bad thing, Colonel? [20:09] Q> ::takes the second PADD and starts making some notes:: [20:09] ::stiffens at Bentall's voice:: Colonel, will you take this one? [20:09] X4> K> Bits and pieces. It's hard to concentrate with such a bad headache. ::finishes the spiral, then nudges Kelaka forward and up a bit more, getting within 5 kilometers of the closer singularity:: [20:09] Shuttle> ::The shuttles' cmoputer lit up in a pre-planned course for him to follow:: [20:10] Din> +Com+ The Pfhor are our protectors. Their ships circle high above us as angels do. Why do you communicate so much in the shadows? [20:10] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:10] ::raises an eyebrow at Tal:: +Taps+ Bridge here Commodore [20:10] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:10] X4> ::Savant helped by displaying a flight recording of the battle scene in the CIC in a small unused terminal window:: [20:10] K> To answer your question, yes. I believe I cleared the holotables on the shockwave impact. [20:10] SB> ::raises a brow at Prescot responding and not Tal:: Requesting permission to launch from main shuttle bay. We're heading for the fourth chamber at the request of Admiral Lora Kor. [20:10] Din> We cannot make peaceful negotiations over such a signal. Please bring your vessels to orbit, and we will talk face-to-face. [20:10] Dia> ::grins, already starting to forget Tal in the sheer joy of being back in a nice maneuverable shuttle:: [20:11] ::nods to Prescot:: [20:11] ::loads up a panel on the console, waiting for any input from Engineering:: [20:11] SB>::smiles hearing Prescot give the launch order:: Marines are taking over, I guess. [20:11] K> Or most of me cleared the holotables. ::rubs his head:: [20:11] +taps+ Permission granted Commodore. Safe Journey. [20:11] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:11] Pfhor Consortium... not Hegemony... interesting distinction... wouldn't you say, Lt. Brooks? [20:11] =Description= Closer, the Tuberider looks a bit like Xanadu in miniature: a rotating cylinder, "hanging" from the singularity, but open on both ends. At the fore, a Bridge module and weapons ports. At the aft, docking platforms for small and medium craft. [20:11] E> ::finishes putting together the rotation info to send out to helm and tactical:: [20:11] CIC> ::leans against a bulkhead, listening in on the conversation, and wondering just what kind of ignorence drug this guy is on:: [20:12] K> ((The flight scene *from* CIC i suppose would be better)) [20:12] SB>::sees the FC's to work again readying the shuttlebay for launch:: [20:12] E> Commander our foward HDS is up to 95% [20:12] E> ::sends the info to tactical and helm consols:: [20:12] =Description= The interior volume is probably about that of a Wraith -- perhaps enough room for a crew of a dozen or so. In cross section, the hull is probably only one deck high, though that single deck is cylindrical. [20:12] +com+ Acknowledge, Bentall out. ::enters the launch sequence and pilots the shuttle our of Coronado's main shuttlebay:: [20:12] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:12] CIC> +com+ I will have our vessel dispatched at once, Tolan Din, and I thank you for receiving our communication. Please alert your protectors as to our arrival under peaceful intentions, because as I have made mention before, we were involved with an unfortunate conflict with them in the past. We seek to avoid any further misunderstanings. [20:12] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:12] CB2> ::moves toward the exit of the cargo bay after watching the crate evanesce:: [20:12] * CPS2_Bentall is now known as [CPS2_Bentall] [20:12] Q> ::stands and makes his way to the replicator, makes himself a glass of water and retakes hsi place on the bunk, sipping slowly in between reading and taking notes:: [20:12] Dia> ::blasts out of the forest, the remains of the protective shield over Alexandria just ahead... throws the shuttle into a full power climb:: [20:13] =.\ction= Lora Kor guides Kelaka toward the docking platforms. Of the three larger ones, two have Wraiths docked. He makes for the third. The four smaller docking latches are currently empty. [20:13] ::looks over at Brooks:: And it will be bad if we arrange for a peaceful negotiation and the Pfhor are unaware of this and attempt to blow Vanguard out of the water when she arrives in system. [20:13] SB> ::watches the second launch preparation and wonders why the shuttle bay is so busy today:: [20:13] CIC> ::off channel, to Savant:: Have Vanguard exit the system, move outside of their sensor range, and re-enter after decloaking. Make sure they keep it nice and diplomatic like. [20:13] CIC> ::Savant nodded and sent the orders off to Vanguard without delay:: [20:13] * ObsSharp (~Lewis_T_S@Toronto-HSE-ppp3818530.sympatico.ca) Quit (Quit: ) [20:14] <[CPS2_Bentall]> ::looks over at Savant's hologram:: So do we land in the fourth chamber or dock with the "Nexus vessel" as you called it? [20:14] Vanguard will be fine. That's not what has me concerned. [20:14] ::glances at Tal:: Consider the beating you all gave them, I'm not surprised they reorganized themselves.. [20:14] ::nods:: That's one explanation, to be sure. [20:14] Shuttle> I would recommend that we fly in and ask, myself. [20:14] Dia> ::feathers back the engines after getting some altitude, aiming for a stall point just short of the null-grav axis in the chamber:: [20:15] X4> K> ::glances from his flying to Savant's playback, frowning:: I remember being thrown around well enough. [20:15] Din> +Com+ Gener-al, I am afraid a man of my status cannot communicate directly with the protectors. This is why I nearly passed over your signal when it arrived here. [20:15] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:15] X4> K> ::plainly:: You broke some ribs and had a collapsed lung, Admiral. [20:15] SB>::mumbles under his breath:: (m) Sure would be nice to get assigned flight maneuvers out there right now. [20:15] K> Yeah, it seemed bad at the time. [20:15] Q> ::continues to work, trying not to be distracted by thoughts of Maiko and what she's up to:: [20:16] <[CPS2_Bentall]> ::nods:: A good idea. ::speeds the shuttle up:: [20:16] Computer, locate Captain Daren. [20:16] E> Hmmmmmmmm [20:16] X4> K> Then thank heavens I was out for most of the surgery. ::frowns even more:: That certainly explains the missing days, however. [20:16] E> What? [20:16] ::taps against his console:: So we did not even talk to someone of great importance. [20:16] Computer> "Captain Daren is in the CIC..." [20:16] E> Nothing [20:17] X4> K> Stand by for docking. ::kills thrusters, allowing the remainer of Kelaka's momentum to guide her to the collar:: [20:17] CIC> +com+ I see. Perhaps I should speak to a person of the required status, or can you relay our intentions to such an official? [20:17] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:17] E> That Hmmmmmm wasn't for nothing. [20:17] Dia> ::keeps an eye on the motion indicators on the console, watching forward momentum creep to a stop, then begin in the reverse as the shuttle begins to slide backwards:: [20:17] X4> K> It was fairly bad, but i was able to stabilize you and the others fairly quickly. [20:17] <[CPS2_Bentall]> +com+ Admiral Lora Kor from Commodore Bentall [20:17] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:17] =.\ction= Kelaka docks to the third platform outside the Tuberider. [20:18] E> do it!@ [20:18] E>::brings it up:: See a .2 power surge [20:18] E> Where is the surge? [20:18] <[CPS2_Bentall]> +taps+ Just wondering where I should set this shuttle down once we arrive in the fourth chamber Admiral. We just entered the 2nd Chamber. [20:19] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:19] E> No clue, thats why I went hmmmm, it was there then it wasnt [20:19] K> ::smiles:: +taps+ Just follow the singularity, Captain. You'll know where you're going when you see it. [20:19] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:19] Din> +Com+ If you have had such hostilities with the Protectors in the past, you believe they will allow you to approach peacefully? [20:19] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:19] Dia> ::gets the shuttle level enough to get some air under its bottom then completely cuts the engines, putting the shuttle onto a flat spin as it begins plumetting towards the surface:: [20:19] +taps+ I'm guessing that you are aware of the current situation, sir, as you are in the CIC. Do you have any orders for Coronado at this time? [20:19] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:19] E> I need to know where it is ensign. [20:20] <[CPS2_Bentall]> +taps+ Ah... Alright Sir. See you in a few minutes, Bentall out. ::looks at Savant:: Well I guess that'll be easy enough. [20:20] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:20] Shuttle> It's a rather large craft, you can't miss it. [20:20] E> Its like it came from outside the ship. [20:20] E> Is it in the HDS? [20:20] K> ::pushes himself to his feet:: Were you able to get medical attention, Captain Drexler? [20:20] SB>::mulls heading down to the main shuttlebay, but decides to stay up here:: [20:20] E> No Sir [20:20] CIC> +com+ This I am not sure of. This is also why I wish our intentions relayed to them before we approach so that we do not suffer from the same hostilities that we have in the past. If they will not allow us to approach peacefully, then we will not approach. [20:20] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:20] CIC> +Taps+ ::smiles:: None at the moment, Commander. Just keep the HDS running...this is going to be interesting. Hopefully if something goes wrong, it won't be our fault this time... [20:20] E> I need hard info. Please confirm that. [20:20] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:21] K> It looks like you took as hard a jolt as I did. [20:21] E> ::taps his consol:: Ill need access to sensor readings [20:21] +taps+ It's never our fault, sir. ::smirks:: As our commanding officer, it's yours. [20:21] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:21] K> ::grabs his duffle and puts it over his shoulder:: From the playback, I mean. [20:21] <[CPS2_Bentall]> ::pilots the shuttle into a course that follows the singularity:: I suppose not. [20:23] E> Good I thought it was something worse. [20:23] Haven't heard so much of a peep out of them. I'll call. ::looks down at the console, about to tap the button, then pauses:: [20:24] <[CPS2_Bentall]> ::watches the scenery changes as they leave the 2nd Chamber and enter the 3rd Chamber:: [20:24] That's odd. [20:24] CIC> That's most likely. They have a very good opinion of the Pfhor, to be sure. [20:24] ::frowns:: What's that, Lieutenant? [20:24] Two of the transports have just changed direction. [20:24] Shuttle> ::Savant sat quietly in the shuttle, watching the scenery go past:: [20:24] ::glances up at the holotank, her expression tight:: Heading? [20:24] =.\ction= Standing on the other side of the hatch from Kelaka are two men, both in their mid-30s, both intent. One is Lt. Commander Jim Owens, Vice Admiral Aldur's attaché. [20:24] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:25] CIC> ::rubs the back of his neck:: This is....unnatural....but I suppose it's better than landing on the planet and finding that they don't want to be liberated. [20:25] K> Permission to come aboard, Commander. [20:25] TR> Owens> Permission granted, Admiral. Welcome aboard. ::steps back to allow Lora Kor and his officers aboard:: [20:25] Din> +Com+ Gener-al. [20:26] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:26] ::tries to extrapolate their course:: They're still rotating... should have a heading in a moment. [20:27] Yep, confirmed. Looks like they're heading near Xanadu. [20:27] Dia> ::hits the button to re-engage the impulse engine, content that the shuttle's auxilliary propulsion is working perfectly:: [20:27] Q> ::finishes her reading and starts working on the exam that's at the end:: ((Wonder if I'll get another hundred?)) [20:27] E> +taps+ Engineering to helm we are ready for ratation. [20:27] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:27] ::nods impatiently:: Colonel, have your men bring their fighters to hot standby. [20:27] TR> ::steps aboard the Tuberider, adjusting his duffle as he does so:: [20:27] E> Ensign ready for rotation. [20:27] CIC> ::perks up:: +taps+ Daren to Bridge, status of the HDS? It's going to come under close scrutiny very soon... [20:27] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:27] TR> ::nods to Owens, stepping off after the admiral:: [20:27] +taps+ Thank you Engineering. Helm out. [20:27] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:27] CIC> +com+ Please relay my thanks to your elder, Talon Din, and thank you for your prompt and courteous response. Prepare for launch on my command. Begin your preflight but only launch on my command [20:28] From the looks of it, their course is towards Xanadu's coordinates a half-hour ago. [20:28] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:28] Commander, beginning another rotation role for the HDS. ::engages thrusters, spinning the ship slowly in place while keeping the HDS image counter-rotating to stay in place:: [20:28] +taps+ Bridge to Captain Dar - we're rotating to bring forward emitters to bear. I'm having the Marines come to hot standby in case this gets warmer than we anticipate, sir. [20:28] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:28] CIC> ::sends the go to Vanguard:: [20:28] SB>::throws off the head set and begins running down the stairs:: +taps+ Aye, Colonel. [20:29] Helm, ease us right up to the very edge of the opening - lower power requirements if we're closer to the target area. [20:29] <[CPS2_Bentall]> We're about to enter the 4th Chamber. Is there anything I need to watch out for in there? Who do we contact for docking permission I wonder? [20:31] Dia> ::so close when she pulls off some of the leaves flutter off the trees as she climbs to a higher altitude to conduct a few more maneuverability tests:: [20:31] CIC> Well done, Jeremy. [20:31] Here comes the tried and true test of this new "Pfhor Cooperation" [20:31] =.\ction= Vanguard's appearance causes virtually every ship in the system's course to fluctuate slightly. They then all settle down... including the two headed for Xanadu's approximate location, who also maintain their course. [20:31] [CoroLCARS SOUND] [20:31] SB> ::Bravo flight finishes the pre-flight checks and waits for launch when the order comes:: [20:31] And signal Commander D'Rall to return. [20:33] CIC> ::slightly distantly, after a moment:: You'd think so, yes. [20:33] Now we see if this holographic defense system is worth all the credits that went into developing it. [20:33] Dia> ::mutters, aborting the roll she was about to perform:: +taps+ D'rall to Stackpole. Would you please inform our esteemed executive officer that I am technically off-duty?
