[18:15] *** Fraser is now known as CLMC_Ironside [18:15] SUMMARY: Have you ever noticed that people only remember what they want to remember? Me too. [18:15] With our resupply of TG5.4 completed, Coro was ordered to Starbase 75. There, we picked up two diplomatic delegations, from the homeworlds of the T'Keni and Elnar. These two races have been engaged in a decades-long war, and have requested Federation assistance as a neutral party in resolving it. [18:15] The T'Keni and Elnar delegations had been on Starbase 75 for several weeks, working out the details of a full diplomatic conference that will be held on Drea 6. While two other ships pick up the actual ambassadorial parties on the two homeworlds, Coro has the job of ferrying the teams that planned the conference. [18:15] Things were proceeding smoothly until an odd thing began happening: several members of the crew began forgetting recent happenings, or even recent conversations! Whatever this is, it appears to affect longer-lived races more strongly than shorter-lived ones. The Captain is particularly affected... [18:15] The Captain calls himself "Varani Kor" and for a while insisted the year was 2380. Varani was the Kor symbiont's last host, and died about 15 years ago. Worse, whatever is affecting the crew could also be affecting Starbase 75's Klingon commander. There's no telling what he remembers. [18:18] ::raises hand:: [18:18] And with somewhat mutated forheads too. :) [18:18] sir, when you say longer lived races, do you mean the race itself? What about individuals who are very old?
