The games began the moment the ship arrived in the opponents sensor range. 12The first excercise of the games has commenced and the crew engaged the first ship. In a daring move they captured the ship, the USS Bonaparte, and are using it as a decoy and escort vessel. The newly arrived XO, Commander Lisbon, along with a platoon of marines and the Coronado's Chief Engineer are presently aboard the Bonaparte, guiding it against its former allies. The XO queired the Bonapartes computer and discovered the identities of the other two non cloaked ships and have informed the crews of both ships. 12While this has been going on the Professor has been tweaking the Coronado's sensors and weapons in the hopes to get an edge against the attacking vessels. As these ideas were being discussed the sensors idicated the approach of the first cloaked vessel. The element of surprise now resides with the Coronado and the Bonaparte as they can track the cloaked ship and be prepared for the coming attack. [18:09] ack [18:09] ack [18:09] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ack [18:09] <[L1CC_Halkins]> ack [18:09] ack [18:09] <[ENDR_Barnes]> ack [18:09] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> ack [18:09] Ok. [18:38] ::looks up from his rather busy work watching for enemy communications and performing jamming operations:: I'm afriad not, Mr. Dalton....::turns his attention to Bentall:: Judging from communications traffic, she's hiding somewhere near Ceres...possibly in her northern polar region. [18:38] +taps+ Professor? We have one ship left. Those weapon mods close to completion yet? [18:38] ::doesn't bother turning around:: My good Mister Dalton, it doesn't take an empath to know intuitive sense when it hits him in the face. [18:38] S> ::talking to himself:: Better take a trip down to engineering to finish up. [18:39] ::clears his throat:: Captain, I do hope you have a plan before we charge headlong into a Sovereign class warship. [18:39] +taps+ Almost... just a few more modificitations, and my copy of the Breen shield disruptors should be online! [18:39] Alright. Helm take us in. Attack pattern Delta. [18:39] +taps+ Understood. We need them ASAP. [18:39] ::runs over to engineering:: [18:39] Tactical as soon as we are in range fire all weapons. [18:39] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> Flank em. [18:39] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> Maximum profile on our weapons. [18:40] ::frowns, hesitating:: Delta's a bit predictable sir. [18:41] <[LJEN_TPrax]> Cmdr Lisbon: Your orders sir? How shall I proceed? [18:41] The Hood is emerging over Ceres' northern pole. Four hundred thousand klicks, dead ahead. [18:41] ::brings the targeting protocall online for the enemy ships weapon systems:: 12=.\ction= The Sovereign Class USS Hood comes about and begins evasives, before turning and firing all weapons at the two attacking ships [18:42] ::runs back over to science, before hovering over a large red switch:: +taps+ Commander Bentall, the mods are online... just tell me when! [18:43] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ::reads the "damage" report coming in:: Warp drive will be offline for awhile longer. [18:44] ::rolls and weaves between phaser blasts, avoiding a good deal of them, and jukes and jinks from torpedoes:: [18:44] S> ::stands, hand hovering over the switch:: Excellent... soon my experiment will come to fruition! [18:44] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> ::frowns:: They're cheating. [18:44] ::firing from the main launchers he fires 10 torpedoes at the enemys sensors:: [18:44] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ::curses and begins working on the shields:: [18:44] +taps+ Professor, engage the disruptors. Tactical, fire the weapon mods as soon as they are online. [18:44] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> Thrusters, takes us away. ::knows it's slow, but has to distance for repairs:: [18:44] ::still locked on he begins firing from 3 of the forward Phaser emitters:: [18:45] ::clicks his tongue:: Poor Bonaparte. It's like Waterloo all over again. [18:45] ::his hands flying over the station he engages the weapons mods:: [18:45] S> +taps+ ::excitedly:: Acknowledged! Shield dissapators active! [18:45] <[L1CC_Halkins]> E> ::hums an old song he used to like as he watches the engineers work:: [18:46] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> Engineering, I can't believe one shot takes out everything. What are repairs? [18:46] ::still targetting the Hoods sensors he fires off 10 forward torpedoes and all forward phasers:: 12=.\ction= Multiple beams of phaser fire from both the primary and secondary batteries sizzle across space! [18:46] ::executes an amazing variety of evasives, managing to evade far more firepower than most any other ship could in the Coro's place:: 12=.\ction= Suddenly the lights go out and the ship comes to a standstill with life support on backup power. [18:46] What the hell happened? [18:46] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ::crawls out from underneath the Tac/Eng console:: Sir, I have partial shields. 20% at most. But weapons are offline for the duration of the battle. [18:46] ::manages to lose one of the targeting locks from the Hood, but can't stop another from snapping right back on, and another, and another:: Captain...she's locking all weapons onto...::looks up:: [18:46] <[L1CC_Halkins]> E> ::looks around:: That can't be normal. [18:46] S> ::looks around:: Hmm... that wasn't supposed to happen... ::begins taking notes:: [18:47] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> I think the battle just ended. [18:47] Dammit... [18:47] I guess you lost? [18:47] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> ::watches the Coro start drifting:: [18:47] ::frowns, noting that he can't slow forward motion at all:: [18:47] ::frowns, then turns to look at the Captain:: The great professor's modifications zapped the power. [18:47] +taps+ Professor!? What did you do? [18:47] <[LJEN_TPrax]> Sir: We have to do somethuing, otherwise the Coro is gone! [18:47] ::hears his console beep:: And we were just hit with a full volley of quantum torpedoes..... [18:47] ::laughs:: You mean you let that quack at the main power systems? [18:47] Options? [18:48] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> Boom. [18:48] S> +taps+ Hmm... apparantly... the weapon took more power than first accoutned for, and it's messing with the EPS conduits... [18:48] ::stands up and salutes Bentall:: All hands, abandon ship! [18:48] Hit by a full volley of torpedoes? We're dead. Literally. [18:48] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> Casualty report? [18:48] ::nods:: The computer has simulated total destruction of the Coronado. [18:48] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> I think they'd be fried by now. [18:48] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ::reads his Tac display:: Heavy casualties sir. [18:48] Damn.... Signal our surrender. [18:49] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ::crosses his fingers that the Hood will leave the Bonaparte alone:: [18:49] ::sighs:: Almost victory to be killed by a power loss at the end. I knew there was a reason to feel uncomfortable. [18:49] That ... was rather anticlimactic, after all. [18:49] S> ::still on open communication:: Very intriguing... I must overcome this design flaw in the next version... [18:49] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> ::twiddles his thumbs:: If they lower their shields, I'm going over to slay their captain. [18:49] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ::whispers in Lisbon's ear:: Why don't we "ram" that ship. [18:50] ::looks back at Ironside:: I hope you are taking notes. Next time you fight the Borg ... don't choose that moment to run one of the Professor's experiments. [18:50] The Hood's locking all weapons onto the Bonaparte....::glances at Dalton:: [18:50] <[LJEN_TPrax]> It would certainly be the honorable thing to do for the "destroyed" Coro. [18:50] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> Because we can only move 50 kph? [18:51] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> They'd sti there and laugh their asses off as we crawled towards them. [18:51] <[LJEN_TPrax]> Cmdr: WE have partial shields, that should hold until we "run" into them sir. [18:51] S> ::still on an unclosed communication:: Hmm... next time, I [18:51] <[LJEN_TPrax]> ::runs to a wall panel, tears it off:: Give me a few minutes sir, and I can bring partial impulse online. [18:51] 'll definatly have to account for more power drain... maybe tap main life support... [18:51] Hood's main arrays are energizing....firing. [18:51] <[LCXO_Lisbon]> They can knock em down and then tractor us. It'd look pathetic. 12=.\ction= The first part of the games end in disapointment. All Coronado crew members are back aboard the Coronado and are in the conference lounge for debriefing. [18:52] ::sits down a rather large frown on his face:: [18:52] ::sits straight in his chair, giving the professor unhappy looks every once in a while:: [18:52] ::despite all that's happened, he's managed to retain that normal air of good cheer:: [18:52] ::sits in the conference lounge, unaware of the nearly homicidal expressions of his fellow crew:: [18:52] ::sits in his usual seat, very disappointed at the no-win scenario:: [18:52] ::brings water to the conference -- no champagne for the losers:: [18:52] ::sits in his chair his dissapointment evident:: [18:53] ::sits musing over the battle:: [18:53] ::Thinks:: I will make a personal not e not to let the professor play with my engines:: [18:53] ::stands up:: As Morale Officer, I'd like to point out that you did everything incredibly well. [18:53] ::speaks to the Commander:: Sir, you shouldn't be disappointed. Even if the professor hadn't dropped the ball, the chances of us defeating a Sovereign were slim under any circumstances. [18:53] ::sits at fav chair:: [18:53] You dispatched the earliest ships with remarkable prowess. [18:53] ::looks up:: Professor? Would you please be so kind as to explain why we lost power like that? [18:54] Indeed. The good Major is correct. The odds of taking on a Sovereign must be...well, suffice it to say, it'd be difficult for us to do under any circumstances. [18:54] ::grins:: Well, I attempted to adapt technology of Breen origin, and it looks like I underestimated the power drain and the weapon's effect on other systems. [18:54] ::perks up:: But the NEXT time... [18:55] ::coughs and sits down:: [18:55] Professor! You can not place Alien technology on a Starfleet vessel. Their systems are incompatible! [18:55] ::shakes his head and mutters::If it were up to me there wouldnt be a next time [18:55] ::smiles at Bentall:: You should promote that man, Captain. [18:55] ::frowns:: Point taken Gentlemen. Professor. There will not be a next time. Any more bright ideas you have will be submitted to Lieutenant T'Prax over there for apporval. If he approves it then he will bring it to me. Is that clear? [18:55] ::smiles at the Cadet:: [18:55] ::shivers, is really cold:: [18:55] Ah, but I built it from scratch! The technology is more Romulan then Breen. [18:55] That was an emotional attack. They're attempting to demoralize us. [18:56] ::looks up at Dalton::Sorry Sir [18:56] ::sits back in his chair, thinking about it casually:: [18:56] ::grows silent, as he always does when someone is repremanded:: [18:56] So not alien at all... and yes, that's clear rekkhai. ::sulks for a second:: [18:56] Romulan Breen, doens't matter, they are not compatible systems for my engines! [18:56] ::looks at the two squabbling men and rasies his voice:: ENOUGH!! [18:57] ::doesn't react, still thinking:: [18:57] Sorry sir..::closes his mouth immediately:: [18:57] I will not tolerate my crew squabbling. We made some mistakes. This will not happen again. Do I make myself clear? [18:57] ::drinks more water:: [18:57] Yes sir. [18:57] ::nods but remains silent:: [18:57] Proffessor? [18:57] Ie, rekkhai ::resorting to the rihannsu without thinking:: [18:57] ::crosses his arms and doesn't make any notion one way or another:: [18:58] Good. Now that being said. For the most part we did well. And both the Major and Mr. Dejat are correct. We probably would have lost anyway. But I had hoped to but up a better fight then that. Any questions or comment before I continue? [18:59] ::crosses his arms, shaking his head in the negative:: [18:59] * Savant shimmers into being on the far side of the table, flickering somewhat [18:59] What's the next step? [18:59] ::sits in his seat, not responding what so ever:: [18:59] ::looks up at Savant in surprise:: Who fixed it? I though it was offline? [18:59] Believe me, I sure didn't/. [18:59] The Professor's tinkering must have activated it. [19:00] -flicker flicker- Good evening, sirs, ma' -flicker flicker- - elf-repair routines are nearly comple -flicker flicker- hould be operational shortly. [19:00] ::chuckles at making a Vulcan angry before looking up:: Yes, I did come across some coding while in the science lab... [19:00] ::nods:: That is good news after todays disaster. [19:00] Oh come now, it wasn't a disaster. [19:00] * Savant nods slightly to all, her fingers steepled together in front of her [19:01] ::mutters, but audible enough to be heard:: Disaster. Hrmph. [19:01] ::Mutters:: speak for yourself Mr. Dalton. [19:01] Ok. Take the rest of the day and night off. At 0800 tomorrow I'd like to see Major Ironside and Lieutenant Halkins in my ready room to go over phase two of the games. Understood? [19:01] * Savant flashes out of being again, an inaudible explosion [19:01] ::smirks at T'Prax:: Vulcans. Such a moody race. [19:01] ::keeps his arms crossed and again says nothing:: [19:01] ::nods, then glances at Savant:: Savant, how many of your personalities are online? [19:01] *** [L1CC_Halkins] is now known as L1CC_Halkins [19:02] ::glances at Dalton, almost cracking up:: [19:02] Ok. Dismissed. [19:02] ::turns to face Mr Dalton:: This is not the Vulcan speaking, but the Klingon in me. [19:02] Vulcans do not have emotions. [19:02] ::turns the chair slightly, keeping his eyes fixed on Bentall:: [19:02] ::nodding once to the Captain he stands and begins to walk from the room:: [19:02] ::looks at Dejat:: Yes Lieutenant? [19:03] ::too cold to move, shivers a lot:: [19:03] ::raises an eyebrow:: Your parents are a Vulcan ... and a Klingon? ::thinks:: [19:03] ::stands, reiterating to T'prax:: Dismissed... [19:03] ::stands up:: Well, now I have a better understanding of the Coro's power systems... true geniuses are never appreciated... ::walks out:: [19:03] ::indicates the other people in the room with a nod of his head:: It should wait. [19:03] ::sits a few minutes before getting up slowly, and heads out of the CR to the TL:: [19:04] ::sees that Bentall is staying, so goes out to man the bridge:: [19:04] ::nods:: Let's go people. I said dismissed. Mr. Dejat and Commander Lisbon, if you would remain please. [19:04] ::stops:: [19:04] Sure. ::walks over to the table and takes his seat:: [19:04] ::begins cleaning up the mostly undrunk water glasses:: [19:04] ::pushes back from his chair at the table and rises, heading out of the conference lounge and onto the bridge:: [19:04] ::looks at Dalton:: You to Mr. Dalton. [19:04] ::shivering more his face startsturig shades of blue:: [19:04] ::looks offended:: You're kidding, right? [19:05] ::glances at the science counsol, before entering the TL:: Science, please. [19:05] ::uncrosses his arms finally and stands, clasping his hands behind his back and begins pacing the length of the conference table:: Permission to speak frankly sir. [19:05] TL> ::in an irrated and audible voice:: Engineering. [19:05] ::scans Bentall:: No, I guess not. [19:05] No Mr. Dalton. I'm not. Commander Lora may have allowed you to but I'm not ready for that yet. [19:05] ::walking back over to his station he sits still mulling over the loss:: [19:05] You disappoint me sometimes. [19:05] ::leaves with his glasses:: [19:06] TL> ::exits the TL into the science lab, not having said a word:: [19:06] ::turns back around, now that Dalton's left, and places his hands on the back of the chair:: Permission to speak frankly and openly? [19:06] ::frowns and turns to look at Dejat as Dalton leaves:: That man can be annoying at times. Granted. [19:06] TL> ::TL stops close to the Science Lab before continuing to move to Engineering:: [19:06] ::walks up to Ironside on the Bridge:: Tell me something, Major. [19:06] ::leans over and confirms something on the Mission Ops console:: What's that, Mr. Dalton? [19:07] Right now, in that room ... is Mr. Bentall relying on that ... severe-looking first officer of his, and the Caradssian to boost his morale? [19:07] TL> ::exits the TL and storms into Engineering. Several of his people try to get his attention but he enters his private office, and once the doors close, lets out a violent yell that can be heard almost all the way to the bridge:: [19:07] S> ::talking to himself:: If it wasn't for my Ragarok Tri-Probe system, they never would have gotten past the first phase OR detected any of the cloaked ships [19:07] ::scoffs:: You'd better keep an eye on him, if he is. [19:07] You overreacted, Jarod. These people are doing their best to serve you--the Professor included, despite what may prove to the contrary. We've all been thrown into the mix together and come out alright. The Professor miscalculated. We lost. We would've lost against a Sovereign anyway. Instead of reprimanding him, you should have encouraged him to continue his experiments. In my opinion, that is. [19:08] ::straightens and turns to Mr. Dalton, crossing his arms:: There are times when the morale officer has to realize that a boost isn't appropriate. Besides ::tilts his head slightly:: I thought you had returned to medicine. [19:08] ::glances at Lisbon for a moment, to gauge his reaction to the fairly harsh words from a junior officer:: [19:08] The mind and the body are one when it comes to good health, Major. I've moved on to the psychological sciences now, but of course, I'm still an excellent doctor and ... well, I don't kill many people during surgery. [19:09] ::nods:: I know. I lost control of the situation right from the get go. I'll take the professor aside later on and talk to him about it. Anything else? [19:09] ::grunts and seats himself at his station:: Everybody can't be happy all of the time, Mr. Dalton. [19:10] Goodness, why not? Such a dour outlook on life, Major. [19:10] ::shakes his head negative:: Just take an objective viewpoint in this kind of situation. The Professor--who I am most concerned about right now--may have his flaws, but he's one of the smartest people I've ever seen. I don't think he should be dismissed out-of-hand. [19:10] S> ::begins taking the weapon offline:: Ah, well, I'm sure I'll develop the technology at some point. [19:10] ::begins to work on the weapons deleting the residue from the mods:: [19:10] E> ::sits in his office:: Some Professor he is...tampering with my engines, causing a power loss...Combining technologies that are not compatible. And who is the Chief Engineer here? Me or him? Me. And why, because Bentall appointed me as the Chief Engineer. ::sighs and continues to talk to himself:: Fahter was right, with the Klingon in me, I will [19:10] ::whispers into his ear:: Are you ... *ever* ... happy? [19:10] ::doesn't react, listening:: [19:10] ::nods again:: Point taken Mr. Dejat. ::turns to the Exec:: Any thoughts? [19:11] ::ceases loading a report and gives Dalton a very small wry grin:: When I have a firearm in my hand. [19:11] I still say this was meant to demoralize us, and it's working rather well. [19:11] ::stays standing behind the chair, hands resting on the top of it, watching to see what Lisbon has to say:: [19:11] ::continues smiling:: So I was right. This IS as good as shore leave for you. [19:11] ::Arches an eyebrow:: Would you care to see me happy right now, Mr. Dalton? [19:11] ::nods:: Why is the question. Any ideas. Either of you? [19:12] E> be more human than Vulcan...why do I bother to stick to the Kolinahr??? ::has a revelation:: You know what...Rather than taking out the aggression on my team, I'll have them develop the necessary technology. The Professor did have the right idea, just forgot about the incompatiblity problems I guess... [19:12] S> ::grins to himself:: I'm just glad Cadet Oswald wasn't here to see it... although I'm sure she'll hear about it later [19:12] Part o the test is to make you humble. Keep you from being over-confident. [19:12] ::raises his eyebrows:: Captain, we're being tested. Plain and simple. [19:12] They want to test everything--every limit. [19:12] ::raises an eyebrow:: And I thought we were making such progress. [19:12] Whether Ragarok had crippled us or not in that crucial moment is irrelevant in the end. [19:12] ::nods:: I tend to agree. We'll have to do better on phase two of the games. [19:12] You two remember Starfleet Academy, no? [19:13] ::glances at Dejat:: Well...not sure aobut you. [19:13] ::nods at Lisbon:: [19:13] E> ::walks out into Engineering:: Okay ladies and gentlemen, we have a little side project I want to begin working. Taylor, and Johns, I want you to begin setting up simulations, we're going to try and solve this incompatiblity problem with Alien technology. [19:13] Remember the mind-game exam? [19:13] ::smirks:: Oh, I took a refresher course. [19:13] ::returns to loading the platoon leader reports from the excersize:: Think on the bright side, Mr. Dalton. ::gives him a sweet smile:: At least I asked you first. [19:13] ::nods and grins:: Only to well. [19:13] They expect you to remember that they have psychological officers behind some of these wargames. [19:13] ::smirks:: I do. Passed it better than anyone else in the class. I ended up making the instructor go nearly crazy. ::grins:: [19:14] E> +taps+ T'Prax to Professor: If you are not still upset with me, I would like to get together with you and work on the incompatiblity problem. Maybe we can improve your ideas. [19:14] S> ::looks at the panel:: I'll have to read up more on this 'Savant' program that I seem to have reactivated... could be interesting... [19:14] ::grins again:: True enough I suppose. Anyways, I need to speak with the professor if you two don't mind. Dismissed. [19:14] S> +taps+ ::obviously not unhappy:: Upset? With you? Why would I be? [19:14] +taps+ Bentall to Commander Ragarok [19:14] ::turns to anew Cadet:: Cdt. Ivans: I want you to work on the Savant program. [19:14] ::nods and heads out the door, smiling with the memory of defeating the class that no one was supposed to come through easily:: [19:14] ::nods, stands, and steps out of the conference room and onto the bridge:: [19:14] Computer: Activate the EEH, please. [19:15] S> +taps+ Ragarok here, commander... I seem to be popular all of a sudden! [19:15] ::sighs:: I give up on you, Major. [19:15] No chocolate cake for you. [19:15] ::glances over at Lisbon:: You know, Commander, I don't think I had the chance to welcome you aboard. [19:15] +taps+ Can I see you in the conference lounge for a few please? [19:15] ::attn:: [19:15] :;attn:: [19:15] ::attn:: [19:15] ::attn:: [19:15] ::attn:: [19:15] ::attn:: [19:16] Ok. First half of sim did not go well. For that I apologize. Somthing didn't happen as I thought it would. Was not prepared. Lesson Learned will not happen again I hope. :) [19:16] Other then that the second half was allright. Any questions, comments? [19:17] That was fun :) [19:17] None sir. [19:17] Yes. [19:17] Mr. Dalton? [19:17] You people definitely need a new morale officer once I'm gone. :) [19:17] Got to contribute a new piece of Dejat history to the mix ;) [19:17] ::Attn:: [19:17] :) True enough. :) [19:17] * ENDR_Barnes is sending his comments... [19:18] ::thinks:: Vulcans do not need morale...ever:: [19:18] Grrrr.... [19:18] Ok. Mouse informs me that he should be back full time to sim. Let's welcome him back with open arms shall we? :) [19:18] But Vulcan/Klingon/whatever mutts do. ;) [19:18] ::pats T'Prax on the shoulder:: But humans do ::smirks:: [19:18] Hoo-wah! [19:18] Mouse's nick got stolen, though ;o [19:18] stolen by whom? [19:18] >:| [19:18] Someone who wanted to use Savant ;P [19:18] I can't wait to work with you Mouse. [19:18] That's too bad [19:19] I can find out who. [19:19] ::opens his arms and encases Savant in a big bear hug:: Welcome home, Miss Savant! ::spins Savant around, having the hologram lifted several inches off the ground:: [19:19] May I remind you Dejat that I am only 1/4 Human. [19:19] :) [19:19] Barnes? [19:19] We will have to work on it. [19:19] So 1/4 of you needs a morale officer ;) [19:19] * Savant` alrady floats several inches off of the ground., . . . [19:19] Yes? [19:19] You haven't been dismissed yet. :) [19:19] Several more, then ;) [19:19] * LCXO_Lisbon snickers, enjoying this. [19:20] ohh.. okay [19:20] * Savant` floats a few more inches from the ground [19:20] No Dejat: None of me needs a Morale officer. My Klingon 1/4 does enough counciling. [19:20] Colin, you could use |-_-| ;) [19:20] ::chuckles:: [19:20] ::returns to attn:: [19:20] he hee! [19:20] Ok. Gentlemen. If your character is not included in a plot line directly. Please do not let that stop you from simming. Even if you think you can't sub plot simm all you have to do is ask. Ok? [19:21] Yep. Pretty flexible ;) [19:21] what was i supposed to do on the Bonaparte?! [19:21] Help out [19:21] Look good. [19:21] Have your Q friend pay you a visit. =) [19:22] * LCXO_Lisbon glances at Bentall. [19:22] That's so old... [19:22] Lastly before I dismiss. I think it would be wise if all of us, myself included, started doing our email logs a little more often. I feel this will help with our sub plots and our character development. It also counts towards promos. As long as you don't go doing anything drastic to the ship it should be fine. If in doubt ask me or Commander Lisbon. Any questions? [19:22] Nope. [19:23] No sir. [19:23] Yeah. Logs that don't usually directly point to the main action of the ship ;) Off-duty stuff, usually. [19:23] Nope, I try to keep up email log wise [19:23] LCARS, we done [19:23] *** CoroLCARS changes topic to 'U.S.S.
