Here's the briefing for this week... [18:02] 12=Sim Briefing!= Please type "ack" after you've read it... [18:02] 12Stardate 240004.24: "Open the Pod Bay Door, HAL" , Part 3, by Jester. [18:02] 12SUMMARY: "Greater love hath no man than he give up his life for his friends." [18:02] 12The crew of the Coronado had gathered in Seventh Heaven because they had many reasons to celebrate: their safe return home following a dangerous mission, the revival of their former Commanding Officer, Tebrun Lora Kor, and the many recognitions and honors that have been given to members of the senior staff in the past few weeks. [18:02] 12The party turned surreal when Savant, the ship's Command Liaison Interface to the main computer, started acting oddly. At first, she seemed almost to sulk. Soon, she materialized on the Bridge and informed the crew that they should spend their time in relaxation and allow Savant to handle the many "mundane tasks" associated with commanding the starship! [18:02] 12While an away team led by Lt. Commander Bentall attempted to access the Bridge from outside the ship, T'Prax and others attempted to gain access to Engineering systems. Kor negotiated with Savant for the ship's release and when that failed, he had little choice but to order T'Prax to kill main power, something that seems to have temporarily disabled the interface... As most of you probably remember, on Lora Kor's orders, T'Prax ejected the warp core, which leaves Coro on auxillary power but still within the slipstream. [18:04] Without main power, Coro's stability is a little questionable: the ship will rock and shake at odd moments until someone regains control from the Bridge. ;) [18:04] Any questions? [18:04] ::nods:: Did you all see me short log? [18:06] ::nods:: You'll be able to hold the ship mostly steady, T'Prax, but not shut down the slipstream. You'll need someone at the helm to do that.
