[18:05] 12SUMMARY: Not only are there a few missing pieces in this puzzle, there appear to be a couple of extra ones... [18:05] 12After placing a quarantine on the Iju system, Coronado is currently en route back to Starbase 247 for repairs and further crew replacements. The structure of the hull was stressed by the extreme gravitational forces in the Iju system, making slipstream propulsion a somewhat iffy proposition at the moment. [18:05] 12As a result, Coro is making the run using standard warp drive. While enroute to the Starbase, we have encountered what appears to be an enormous fleet of starships -- almost 500 strong. Fortunately, the ships use only primitive technology, including nuclear fusion propulsion, giving the ships a max speed of 10% light-speed. [18:05] 12However, the fleet is heavily armed with laser and missile weaponry, and while these weapons probably aren't a threat to the Coro, additional caution is warranted. The question of where they came from, where they are going, and why is on everyone's mind. Commander Lora is considering contacting them to find out...
