~~~~In Engineering~~~~ ::Sit at his console and start writing on a padd:: "Ansibles manual, first draft. Introduction : After several hours passed on the Ansibles devices I think that I can put word and work on the computer data storage. The device kinda works a part on itself. First, the power input is as simple as power transfert form a EPS relay to the device, a wireless transfert. Once it is fully power the activation sequence is the same as the computer procedure to activate a tricorder scan. To shut it down, same as to activate it but for "stoping the scan of a tricorder" will shutdown the Ansibles. To use it's communication property : 1- Engage a comm signal to the device 1.1- This will engage the device "transmission array" 1.2- At the same moment the computer core will bring up a warp field similar to the nanoprocessor warp field so faster that light responce from the device and as well as FTL transmission can be obtain... even while moving. 2- Speak as if you were engaging a +comm+ link. 3- All what's send to the Ansible is transmisted instantainly to the destination of the +comm+ ( <me> ::using ansibles:: +Comm+ Me to you, were ready here...etc...) Side effect: 1- One of then is from when we connected the Ansible to the primary and secondary computer core it started to affect the computer respond in wich a query that would need 20 min to get back a responce from the computer (like a diagnostics) would now take only 5 min wich is 1/4 of the original time. 2- The use of the Ansibles open a "sub space connection" between the 2 device wich may cause strutural stress at long term effect.. to counter-act this we'll need to reinforce the structural integrity fields around both the primary and secondary computer core. 3- A 3rd effect in a specific situation may result in a message send .... through time. If near the computer core there's little bit of Tachyon partical." ::close the padd for now and send a copy to the Engineering database as well as to the Capt and Comdr:: As for the rest that still need to be discover (keeping in mind OCCly that we didn't found out about temporal message yet  .
