The killer sat at his desk in his dwelling. He was going through his database of former and current Coronado officers and where they were currently located.

Unfortunatly for him the media had broke the story a little sooner than he had hoped and security on these people had been tightened. It was a shame as he had hoped to get at Admiral Aldur. Even without the tightened security getting at Aldur would have been extermely difficult but not impossible for one of his skills.

Well, he decided, it was time to move on to phase two. The Friends and Family plan as he liked to call it.

Two days later he found himself in the apartment of a Braid. Strange creatures these braids are. This particular braid was an associate of Caring-Thoughts a braid that had served on Coronado. The braid was made up of seven coords.

Trying to kill a braid that was awake would have been difficult as it would immediatly break apart and if any of the coords survived he would be found out as soon as they were rejoined to a new braid.

20 minutes later he left the apartment. A few blocks away he stopped and looked back as the apartment was blown into the sky and its burning peices rained down on the remaider of the building below.

He had deliberatly left the murder weapon from all the previous murders behind. Investigators still wouldn't find any thing useful on it. But he left it as a sign that he had moved onto something a little noiser and more obvious.

The time was coming when he would come face to face with his ultimate target. Then things would be set right once and for all.
