Why she felt compelled to confess her feelings for Tebrun Kor as the Universe was ending she could not begin to fathom. Why she felt the need to confess such feelings to the combined entity that was Dr. Belar and Captain Bentall, she was even less certain. As the singularities pulsed around her, with Ironside and Drexler shouting at her to reintegrate Belar and Timor with Tebrun Kor, Tal had felt a pulse of desperation within her heart. The thought of ceasing to exist without ever expressing her feelings for the Trill admiral had terrified her to her core. It was almost as terrifying, in its own way, as knowing that her twin children would never get the chance to live their lives. Even as she eased Belar's body to the ground there in Xanadu, Tal glanced up and saw the flash of light that signaled the end of her existance - at least, her existance as she knew it.
