The pressure on Maiko's cheek finally forced her through the swirling giddiness of thoughts in Maiko's mind. Automatically she tried to bring her hand up to see what it was, only to find her hand was being somewhat restrained by the weight of her body lying on it. Hardly a suitable way to go about getting sleep. Drunkenly, she managed get her legs and arms beneath her and raise into a crawling position, just high enough to see the chrono next to the sofa - she had been asleep (or frying synapses with alcohol) for the better part of 3 hours. It had been some while, her brain decided as she mulled over the carpet fuzz in her mouth, since she had gotten this drunk. Whatever it was she had drank was still buzzing around her system though she could feel the twinge of a nasty hangover on the horizon, gathering like an ominous thunderhead. Unwilling to chance falling asleep on the carpet again, she unsteadily got to her feet, swaying as if being buffeted by winds all around her. The shoes were discarded carelessly at the door, the uniform top next, followed by the pants, the trail leading to the bunk-style bed in the corner.
