Lauren didnt like him, in fact she practically dispised the man. He had an appearance of arrogance from her standpoint. Ever since he had set foot in Sickbay in fact. But what was the case was that she had to follow his orders, no matter what she thought of the man. Recent events had made her begin to worry about her and Isamu's infant daughter, Jennifer who was only 7 months old. She hadn't chosen to be here, on this ship, in the middle of nowhere. However, she was here, on the ship...with her mother and father. She was well taken care of by the holonanny Isamu had created when they came to the Coronado.
However, the events that had happened today and the days previous, had made her worry about what would happen to Jennifer should the ship loose power. Someone touching her arm brought her out of the deep thought that she had been in for what seemed like forever.
"Doctor??" the voice called to her. Spinning around on her heel she saw the face of one of the nurses looking at her. "Are you alright?" She asked Lauren.
Lauren nodded. She hadn't realized she had let her mind drift away like that. Looking around she noted the patients she had been working on were resting comfortably. That at least was something. Maybe now Reed would develop a little respect for her, she had done her job; faced down a challenge of being overloaded with patients in fine style. Then again, it seemed to take a lot to earn this man's respect. Shaking her head she picked up a PADD and began tapping into it, completing a report of the shift.
