Sieven Drexler

Commander Sieven Drexler
Adjutant, Task Group 85.3

Sieven scanned Churchill's Command Center. It still had the "new" smell that somehow followed freshman Federation components around. Some technicians were still huddled underneath one of the holographic tables, but the other was working well enough to watch Coronado slip through the rift, headed to Lh'owon.

It was becoming apparent that most of the people around him only found their memories of the short-lived alternate reality in their dreams. He still hung on to most of them, however, but in an effort to shun uniquity, he pretended they did not surface as much. It was an untruth he hoped those around him did not notice. He did not need anything else in his life to help further distance him from his colleagues.

What troubled him most was that things were now proceeding so differently than in the other timeline. His thoughts drifted to what the image of hundreds of Pfhor ships flooding into Longshot would look like. His tactical mind played out Ma'aru's formation over and over. He watched the formation on the holotable and frowned. Something was missing, but he couldn't find it.

With a quick shiver, he pushed it aside, blaming it on pre-battle jitters. The same ones the admiral had claimed to have. Only he knew that it could've been something deeper.

For both of them.
