=/\= Sick Bay =/\= Wayne lay in his bed feeling his energy slowly coming back. It had been a close call - again. This was the second time that he had nearly met his end in this method. <<thanks>> Now an IV was plugged into his arm and he was being fed intravenously as the doctors had ascertained that his symptoms had begun to subside. Initially, feeding tubes had been inserted and his internal systems had to be monitored for possible kidney failures or other bodily organ shutdowns. Cmdr Shiid had stated that he would need to remain confined to Sick Bay at least until week's end to make sure that he was on his way to full recovery. Wayne closed his eyes not knowing what else to do but sleep. He felt himself slowly doze off into a fitful sleep as memories came back. =/\= Reor =/\= Natalia and Thomas had eaten dinner together in a small quiet restaurant near the airfields. They both had chatted about their adventures and activities since Natalia had been reassigned. Thomas was surprised to find out that Natalia had engaged in a few combat missions involving raids on Reor. He had listened attentively as she described the battles. He had enjoyed watching her eyes and face as she tried to reenact the battles. When she was finished, they chatted about life on Reor, aboard the Coronado, and the friends they had made. They finished their meals on a quiet note as they toasted those that had not made it. After leaving the restaurant, they walked around with Natalia showing him the various sites that the city afforded them. They stopped by a park to rest their weary feet and found that they were all alone. They held each other and kissed. Later on, they ended up in Natalia's quarters. =/\= USS Schweitzer =/\= Wayne stirred from his restless sleep and awoke in a sweat. His mind was fuzzy and the remnants of the dream were disappearing. A nurse entered, checked the monitors before examining him and made a note on a PADD. She asked him how he felt and he responded weakly that he was feeling better. Wayne watched her head out and suddenly he missed Natalia. It had been months since Reor had been overrun by the Pfhor. Natalia was listed as MIA and survivors had described how the Pfhor were pacifying the populace. He was beginning to lose all hope that Natalia had survived. Wayne wanted a drink very badly.
