Caring-Thoughts

The braid shuffled along the corridor heading for his quarters. Passing crew members would nod politely but for the most part would ignore him.

He had been aboard the Coronado for just under a month now and still had yet to make any signifigant friends.

He was used to it. For as long as he had known humans they always tended to shun those that didn't even look remotely humanoid. If he had shoulders he would have shrugged his indifference.

Arriving at his quarters he waited till the doors slid apart and he entered.

Reaching up he used to limbs to remove his communication pin and setting it on a table he went to the replicator and ordered his daily nutrient requirement which he consumed without thought.

Seeing that it was much to early to goto sleep he decided to head to the holodeck and try out one of the many programs that were in the holodeck's memory banks.

Moments later he was stading at the exterior holodeck console and reading over the various programs. He got to one that looked intriguing. It had been created by a Marine named Eric Moore.

He started it up and enjoyed a couple of hours playing as some scientist named Gordon Freeman in a scientific facility called Black Mesa. Knowing it was a game created hundreds of years earlier on earth made him wonder at the human imagination. He was going to have to study that further.

After he completed his play time he returned to his quarters, broke into his individual coords and promptly went to sleep.

Yes, he was definately settling in.
