| Name: |
Commander Velorna Tal |

 |
 |
| Post: | Former Intelligence Officer U.S.S. Coronado, NCC-97901 |
| Species: | Rihannsu Female |
| Birthplace: | Rihannsu Freighter Vakis |
| Age: | 31 (Standard) |
|
| Physical Characteristics: |
| Height/Weight: | 185 centimeters / 65 kilograms |
| Hair/Eyes: | Black / Green |
| Description: | Tall and athletically built, Velorna Tal is quite an imposing, though strikingly beautiful, figure. Raised on Vulcan, she grew accustomed to the higher gravity. Thus she has an advantage over most any opponent in hand-to-hand combat situations. Though despite being raised amoung the "Galaxy's Logicians," Tal is often seen wearing a bemused smile. |
| Notes: | Tal was attacked by a fellow classmate while at the Academy and still bears the scar on her neck from the near-fatal injuries sustained. |
| Personality Characteristics: |
| Marital Status: | Single |
| Family: | Birth family unknown (see below); adopted father - Adm. Dev Wallace, Starfleet (Retired) |
| Dominants: | Focused, sensual, slightly arrogant |
| Notes: | Tal was raised on Vulcan by her adopted father, former Starfleet Admiral Dev Wallace. She knew no other family other than the mysterious Academy professor. Admiral Wallace, while acting as an observer during a training cruise, was lost with all hands aboard the ship he had once commanded, the U.S.S. Archimedes, four years ago. Tal had been out of the Academy for less than a year at that point, and her life had been shattered by Wallace's disappearance.
She spent more than six months in therapy with Counselor Tollory at Starbase 347. She was finally returned to active duty and certified fit. She has shown no signs of the depression which afflicted her during those six months in over three years. |
| Interests: | Tal is a superb pilot and enjoys spending time in the flight simulators and in the cockpit of her Spectre-class fighter. Because of her duties, however, she rarely has the opportunity to fly in combat situations, which suits her just fine. Tal also finds the time to read up on technical, medical, and scientific journals from around the Federation. Her fascination with learning came from her adopted father, who taught her that "to stop learning is to stop living." |
|
| Personality Characteristics: |
| Family History: | Little is known about Tal's Rihannsu birth family. She remembers little of them other than that she was separated from them at a young age and that they were merchants.
|
| Early Life: | Tal was sold into the custody of an unscrupulous Ferengi Daimon named Remka and lived the life of a slave from the time she was three until she was nine.
It was at this time that then-Fleet Captain Dev Wallace, commanding the U.S.S. Archimedes on a mission for Starfleet Intelligence, uncovered Remka's slave driving business and put a stop to the Ferengi's unethical practices, arresting Remka and picking up the young Rihanna in the process. Following a heated arguement with the Federation Council and Starfleet Command, Wallace was allowed to step down as the Archimedes commander and to move to Vulcan and teach at the Academy Annex there so that he could raise the child as his own.
With Wallace's support and training, Velorna Tal grew to learn the ways of the Federation and developed a love for Starfleet and all that they did - exploration, defense, research. She never decided to embrace the ways of her Vulcan "cousins", despite the years she spent among them. When she reached 18 Solar years of age, Wallace sponsored Tal's admission to the Academy.
|
| At the Academy: | Tal was rarely accepted by her fellow classmates at the Academy, and she found it very hard to deal with the racism that she found among those that were supposed to be some of the brightest and most enlightened minds in the Federation.
During her second year, just prior to her participation in the Academy's Commencement and Commissioning exercises, Tal was attacked by Andorian classmate Cadet Ar'noth Porada. Porada was court martialed for the crime and removed from the Academy. He is now currently serving a term at the Deep Space 12 Rehabilitation facilities.
Though she recovered, Tal was scarred both physically and emotionally by the incident. Yet somehow, she has managed to keep a cheerful dispostion and has not let the one attack make her bitter towards any person. It is speculated that Tal underwent some informal training with Vulcan Kohlinar Master Stovek, a friend of her father's, while she recovered at her father's house on Vulcan.
|
| Starfleet: | Following her graduation from the Academy, Tal was assigned as a pilot and assistant security officer at Starbase 347. It was while there that she last saw Dev Wallace, by that time a retired admiral and an observer for Starfleet Academy. The Archimedes was reported missing seventeen days after leaving Starbase 347. Thus far, no survivors have been found; it is not known if there has been any contact with Wallace since that day. Some speculate that he is still alive, since he was known to fake his death once before.
During the months that followed Wallace's mysterious diappearance, Tal suffered from severe depression and was removed from active duty. She began to undergo therapy with the station's counsleor, Dr. Dryden Milar Tollory. Following six months of sessions with the counselor, Tal was restored to her original post.
She was promoted to Lieutenant, j.g., shortly thereafter and given the almost daunting job of Deputy Chief of Security for the entire Starbase 347 station. She held that post with much distinction until being promoted to full lieutenant and being given the post which she had longed for since before her entrance to the Academy - chief security officer of a starship.
Tal was ecstatic when she learned of her posting to the U.S.S. Coronado. She had often heard her father speak fondly of the ship's predecessor and her crew. Tal jumped at the chance to take a posting on the successor to that ship that her late father so loved. |

| Personal History: |
| Marital Status: | Married, to LCdr. TPrax, U.S.S. Warrior |
| Family: | Father: Donan tr'Loris; Mother: Elenia tr'Loris; Brother: Doran tr'Loris; Sister: Mara Trayin; Children: Doria and Donan Ian (Twins); Ryan and Stephanie Ian (Twins) |
| Former Assignments: | U.S.S. Vortex, Watch Tactical Officer, Watch Medical Officer U.S.S. Vindicator, Watch Tactical Officer |
|
| Background: | When Aurel was 5 years old her grandfather, then Captain Troa tr'Loris was allowed to visit their family on Betazed. He kidnapped her in the hopes of getting Aurel's father to return the Romulan Star Empire. She was rescued by a group of Starfleet officers which inspired her to join Starfleet.
At the age of sixteen she had an argument with her father, which she lost. She ran away stowing away on a Klingon freighter. When she was caught she did errands and chores on the ship for her passage. On the ship she learned Klingon and how to fight with bat'leth and mek'leth.
After she returned home she went to Starfleet Academy. At the age of eighteen she was married to Tobas Ian, whom she had been betrothed to at birth. Tobas was a botanical researcher, who cataloged plant on newly discovered planets. Three years later she gave birth to her daughter, Doria and son, Donan. Three years Tobas died from poisoning from a plant on a newly charted planet.
After being assigned to the U.S.S. Vortex as assistant Security officer, she became engaged to T'Prax. During the engagement she became pregnant with twins, Stephanie and Ryan. about a month later, T'Prax left Deep Space Orion transferring to the U.S.S. Vindicator. Aurel followed with the children shortly afterwards. When T'Prax left the Vindicator after an incident, Aurel went home to Betazed with the children.
She is currently on the U.S.S. Coronado as assistant tactical officer. |

| Post: | Former Chief Engineer U.S.S. Coronado, NCC-97901 |
| Species: | ½ Klingon, ¼ Human, ¼ Vulcan Male |
| Age: | 29 |
|
| Physical Characteristics: |
| Height/Weight: | 177 centimeters / 87 kilograms |
| Hair/Eyes: | Brown / Blue |
| Physical Notes: | Pointed Ears, faint Klingon forehead ridges. |
| Medical Notes: | TPrax experienced the pon farr in his 7th year of his adulthood. Aside from a few bruises and cuts, his crewmates and himself suffered no major harm. However, TPrax did receive a set of twins from it. TPrax also has a faint, yet distinct birth mark on his foot. It is a tattoo of his families coat of arms. The tattoo is made of a strange ink that can not be replicated, or reproduced by anyone, except that Klingon family that makes it. No other illnesses recorded.
SPECIAL NOTE: Strangely enough, his 1/4 Klingon shows through with the Klingon Head ridge. Though it continues to the back of his head, Only the Forehead section is visible. It looks similar to Worf's family head ridges, but with what looks like a curl on the right and left ends of the ridges. |
|
| Personality Characteristics: |
| Marital Status: | Married |
| Family: | Spouse: Ens. Aurel Ian, Watch Tactical Officer, U.S.S. Coronado, Children |
| Dominants: | |
| Background: | TPrax was born on Vulcan in the year 2371, shortly before the disappearance of U.S.S. Voyager, NCC-74656. His mother was Kor'ta of Qo'Nos. She was Half-Klingon, Half-Human. His father was a Full Vulcan by the name of Trelak. Trelak was an Ambassador of Vulcan, and helped during the Dominion negotiations.
When TPrax was 5 Earth years old, Trelak was killed on the transport shuttle that was carrying him back to Vulcan. Until the Earth age of 16, TPrax lived on Qo'Nos with his mother where he studied Klingon bat'leth tactics, and dabbled in the sciences and engineering. When his mother supposedly died of severe trauma to her head, TPrax moved to Earth and lived with his grandparents in Belmont, North Carolina, United States of America, North American Continent.
At 18, TPrax was accepted into Starfleet Academy, and graduated in the 95th percentile of his class, with a double major in Science and Engineering. TPrax first served aboard the U.S.S. Vortex-D, for his Cadet Training Cruise. After the destruction of the U.S.S. Vortex in the Gamma Quadrant, TPrax and his fellow crew mates served aboard Deep Space Orion, until the change in command. He then transfered to the U.S.S. Vindicator. After three months, he requested a Leave of Absence after a disasterous incident, the details of which are still classified at this time. TPrax returned to service in November of 2399, aboard the U.S.S. Coronado, NCC-97901, as the new Chief Engineer.

Lieutenant Adam Barnes |

    |
 |
| Post: | Former Chief Medical Officer U.S.S. Coronado, NCC-97901 |
| Birthplace: | Gilror V Colony |
| Species: | Human Male |
| Age: | 25 |
|
| Physical Characteristics: |
| Height/Weight: | 184 centimeters / 75 kilograms |
| Hair/Eyes: | Brown / Brown |
| Description: | Stunningly Attractive in a youthful way despite his age. Excellent stamina and strength, with above average eyesight and reflexes. Despite his other good characteristics he is not as fast as most other Marines but makes this up with intellgience and quick thinking in battle. |
| Notes: | Barnes looks young for his age due to strange effects all inhabitants of the Gilror system experience. These effects are caused by non-harmful but extremely rare radiation emmitted from the systems sun and some of the effects include longer life spans, the ability to heal quickly, and sporadic telepathy. |
|
| Personality Characteristics: |
| Marital Status: | Married |
| Family: | Wife: Anna Romero, Scientist on Gilror III Research Station. Sister: Lieutenant Dawn Barnes, Chief Tactical aboard the U.S.S. Thunderchild. Mother: Rachel Barnes, Colonist of Gilror V, Deceased. Father: Commander Gordon Barnes, founder of Gilror V Federation Colony, Deceased |
| Dominants: | Charming, funny, interesting |
| Notes: | Barnes was a playful and happy child untill his parents were assinated. After that he was a recluse and a misfit until he met Anna Romero when he was 17 who would later become his wife.
Barnes is the rightful heir to the throne of Gilror. Gilror was one of the first colonies of humans and because of its isolated location it quickly developed its own culture and seperated from the newly forming federation. He could not take this position because of his behavior and did not want it. It was then given to his sister but by Gilrorian law, he may take the throne from her at any time.
Barnes was trained in medicine and in one of his first assignments as a medic he was assigned to V'Kral. This would be the worst time of his life because of what he had to witness during this series of conflicts. This caused Barnes to become temporarily insane and he was commited to an instituation on Gilror. He would later block his time at the institution from his memory which leaves him with a two year memory blank spot.
After sorting through his mental illness, with the help of Anna, Barnes entered Starfleet Academy, majored in medicine, a year before graduating the Academy, he and Anna were married while he was on leave from active duty.
Barnes dealt quickly with the death of his family and this is most likely as a result of his previous mental problems and these deaths didn't seem to affect him as much as previous traumatic events. This could be seen as a good or bad sign but he himself feels liberated and no longer suffers from painful flashbacks or any remnance of his previous psychological problems.
| | Interests: | Barnes mostly spends his spare time in either the Holodeck or in the Mess Hall. |
|

| Name: |
Commander Donal tr'Ragarok |

 |
 |
| Post: | Former Chief Science Officer U.S.S. Coronado, NCC-97901 |
| Species: | Rihannsu Male |
| Birthplace: | ch'Rihan, Romulan Star Empire |
| Age: | 38 (Standard) |
|
| Physical Characteristics: |
| Height/Weight: | 172 centimeters / 67 kilograms |
| Hair/Eyes: | Brown / Bluish-Green |
| Notes: | Ragarok's mind is a confusing place and is impossible to decipher by even the very best of Telepaths (which has been evidenced many times). Any attempt to telepathically scan him merely results in the scanner's head being filled with obscure equations and designs. Empathic scans merely result in a feeling of confusion, madness, and inspiration. |
| Personality Characteristics: |
| Marital Status: | Single |
| Family: | Father and Mother unknown, but Ragarok does have an older "cousin", Donal tr'Rhagarokk, who is actually Ragarok from an alternate reality/future. Rhagarokk is CO of the SNR Cradol. |
| Dominants: | Highly intelligent, erratic, enthusiastic |
| Notes: | Ragarok is a certifiable genius, even though he is quite mad. He holds the equivalent of a Ph.D. in Physics (specialization in Thermodynamics), and bachelor equivalents in Probability, Engineering, Particle Physics, Astrophysics, and Hypermathematics. He also studied teaching and computer operation. Ragarok is always thinking up new inventions, often cobbling them together from whatever parts happen to be nearby.
To say that Ragarok is detached is like saying a sun is hot. Thus, any attempt to draw information out of him usually results in the would-be interrogator getting a headache from the very in-depth scientific explanation of how the lights work. Ragarok's life's work has been studying probability and entropy. This seems to have carried through to him, as Ragarok has been noted time and time again for his incredible luckiness when involved with his personal safety. |
| Personal Quote: | "Well, sure, my invention _might_ end the universe, but I have the highest hopes it will aid us in achieving our goal. The theory behind it is absolutely fascinating. Wait till the Science Council hears about THIS!" |
|
| Pre-Romulan Starfleet Experience: |
| Stardate 2361??.??: | Donal tr'Ragarok born. No documents pertaining to his birth exist, and Ragarok left his parents to attend school at a very young age and has mostly forgotten them. He's sure he had parents, however. Ragarok is moved up grade after grade due to his incredible scientific genius. |
| Stardate 237911.??: | Ragarok graduates from Ra'thleihfi (capital of ch'Rihan) University. Most Romulans go through a minimum of 25 years of school before being allowed to enter service, Ragarok attained the equivalent of a Ph.D. in Physics and several Bachelors' degrees in a mere 18 years. |
| Stardate 2380??.??: | Ragarok is offered a job teaching at the University from which he just graduated. Ragarok eagerly accepts the offer. Many suspect the offer was engineered by the Tal'Shiar, who had become aware of some of his previous experiments. Teaching at the University kept tr'Ragarok useful, while still allowing him to experiment with endagering the populace at large. |
| Stardate 2386??.??: | Vaed'Rehai (Professor) tr'Ragarok writes first book, which assembles many of his previous scientific journals concerning the relationship of Thermodynamics, Entropy, and Probability. Book is heavily read by scientific minds, but many theories are regarded too complicated to be plausible. |
| Stardate 2391??.??: | Ragarok writes second book, a textbook based around Particle Physics and extraordinary "practical" applications in Astrophysics. |
| Stardate 239811.??: | Ragarok writes third book, combining elements from his previous two works, mostly concentrating on alteration of probability itself. Theories regarded as "dangerous" by members of the Tal'Shiar, book supressed. tr'Raith finds the suppressed book, becomes interested in the Scientist. |
| Stardate 239902.21: | Raith contacts Ragarok about his works, discusses possible employment oppurtunity, telling Ragarok that he would have the chance to put his theories into practice. |
| Stardate 239903.30: | Ragarok resigns from teaching at the University, which goes unnoticed by the Tal'Shiar. |
|
| Pre-Romulan Starfleet Experience: |
| Stardate 239904.04: | Ragarok comes aboard the SNR Kalen. |
| Stardate 239904.11: | First day of Ragarok's service on the SNR Kalen. |
| Stardate 239904.??: | Promoted to the rank of Eredh. |
| Stardate 239905.16: | Joins the UCIP Science Council |
| Stardate 239905.17: | Completes UCIP Academy Exam, recieves Red Ribbon of Excellence. |
| Stardate 239907.06: | Promoted to the rank of Erien. |
| Stardate 239907.22: | Recieves Black Ribbon with falling dagger (Special Service Award for Espionage). |
| Stardate 239909.??: | A risky experiment by Ragarok results in the creation of a gateway to another reality, the SNR Cradol is pulled in from the reality. Also recieves rank of erie'Arrain, although does not actually get it in person until later. |
| Stardate 239910.12: | Recieves Green Ribbon with silver eagle (Special service award for Reliability). |
| Stardate 239910.??: | Promoted to rank of Arrain. In Ragarok's words, "something went wrong" after that, causing Ragarok to flee in a bomber given to him by the Cradol. With a heavy heart, Ragarok steers his bomber towards Federation space, carrying with him all he could salvage... |
|
| Starfleet Experience: |
| Stardate 239911.01: | Boards U.S.S. Coronado. |
| Stardate 239911.15: | Accepted as a Brevet Lt. Commander and Chief Science Officer. |
| Stardate 240005.15: | Promoted to the rank of Starfleet Commander. |

| Hair/Eyes: | Light Brown / Blue-Green |
| Notes: | Darek Halkins is a man with a high stamina, he can take a lot of abuse and still carry out a mission successfully. He has a history of broken limbs and visits to the ER during his youth. In his late teens, he was induced with a tracer chemical that was being used experimentally by SF Intelligence to track criminals and other individuals. This tracer flows through his blood stream, and is believed to be irremovable from his system. He is effected in that he recieves severe headaches and symptoms of a mixture of illnesses, varying on the compound he comes in contact with, but this is only evident when the compound is one of a certain few. Other than that, Mr. Halkins is a very healthy man in prime physical condition and is in good shape to carry out a healthy career. |

| Dominants: | Quick-humored, down-to-earth, cunning |
| Personal Quote: | "Sticks and stones might break my bones, but I can break your face." |
|
| Personal History: |
| Summary: | Born on October 25, 2376 in Long Beach, California, Darek Halkins was the youngest member of his family. His older brother, Garret, was a role model during Darek's childhood. Darek was often a trouble maker, and preferred to do things his own way, rather then pay attention in classes and to obey his instructors. This got him a bad reputation which stuck to him all the way to the 9th grade. In High School, Darek showed a change in his behavioral patterns, showing maturity, until the death of his Mother in his sophomore year. After his mother's death, Darek dropped from his top-class GPA to the bottom of his class. He showed signs of depression, anger, and confusion as to what he should do. After graduation, he was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, misuse of a firearm, armed assault, threatening an officer, and resisting authorities. The Judge Magistrate and the Starfleet JAG board agreed all charges could be dropped if Darek agreed to be injected with the new experimental tracer known as "4-site" on the street, and Darek must serve a minimum of 3 years as either an enlisted officer, or as a NCO. Darek agreed to these, and that he could not ever drink an alcoholic beverage again, as the tracer would cause him immense pain if it came in contact with alcohol or other illicit substances. Darek served around, and when his time was up, his father had died.
With nowhere to go, and his brother on the other side of the quadrant, Darek joined the SFMC and started work on the M.S.S. Saratoga, under the temporary command of Major Pete Mitchell. When the ship was decomissioned prior to the Insurrection, Darek took a temporary residence at Trilista. Then, the M.S.S. Saratoga-B was re-commissioned for the Marines on Trilista to use during the Insurrection wartime. After the war, Darek joined the U.S.S. Coronado, where he now serves as Company Commander. |
